2 of our doors would not properly shut. Bought these, and they now lock and close properly. great product.

Great replacement for my original 1920's kitchen cabinet latches. The quality and finish were also better than what some of the big box stores offered.

Worked perfectly did the job

They are very flimsy, but they work. They are a bit hard to close unless you twist the knob first, and then close the door. We have soft close hinges on our island, so they didn't close at all... I filled them full of JB weld and cut off the latch so they are just for a knob to grab and they look nice. I'm giving a higher rating because they look nice, and they were priced right.

Note: there is no back panel on the non-latch side of this and the latch catch is very short so unless your door/cabinet shuts very tightly (no gap) this doesn't really offer any added resistance when trying to open the door. You can simply pull it open. I would not recommend this for any double-door applications due to this design, but it likely works fine for a single door application with reasonably tight fightment between the door and the frame.
