As good as original part
After reading several articles on how this part fails frequently and it seemed to relate to my Maytag washers issues. I decided since a appliance parts site wanted $78 for what seems to be same part as the one on Amazon for $21 I decided to try the Amazon part. It has solved my issues and appears to be a exact match for the original. Unfortunately I do not see any improvements so I would expect the part to fail again. At least its a simple replacement procedure just swap out part and recalibrate machine.

Fits Maytag washer: MVW5430MW1 Installs in less than 5 minutes once you get the washer flipped. Will report back if it fails in less than a year. Washer would not agitate properly or go into spin cycle. It would drain and stop.
