Bare Republic Mineral SPF 30 Sport Sunscreen Spray, Coco-Mango (6 oz)

As an esthetician, I’m super picky about the sunscreens I recommend to my clients—and BareMinerals has absolutely earned a spot on my favorites list. This mineral sunscreen uses zinc oxide as its active ingredient, which offers broad-spectrum protection without the irritation that chemical filters can cause, especially for sensitive or post-treatment skin. I’ve tested it on clients after facials and even mild chemical peels, and it’s gentle enough not to sting or cause redness. The texture is a huge plus: it’s lightweight, blends beautifully, and doesn’t leave that heavy, chalky cast that some mineral sunscreens do. Even deeper skin tones have found it wearable with minimal white residue, which is a big deal in my treatment room. From a skincare professional’s perspective, I also love that it’s non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores or trigger breakouts, making it safe for acne-prone clients. Plus, it has a lovely, almost silky finish that sits well under makeup—no pilling or greasiness. The formula also contains antioxidants, adding a layer of free radical protection, which I always appreciate for skin health and anti-aging.

Can was difficult to open, and did not spray evenly leaving streaks and uncovered areas of skin. And, when it did spray, it was a white film on skin and would not rub in.

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this sunscreen. I have tried all the natural ones and BARE REPUBLIC TAKES THE CAKE Mommas!! Fantastic smell! My child doesn’t burn when using it and somehow when I forgot to put it on and feel burnt, somehow it seems soothing once I spray it on. Even hubby agreed. It works!! It’s not overly white chalky residue prone- like so many of the others and it goes on easily which is my FAVORITE thing about it!! My kids are all wiggles when it’s time to head to the pool and I like that this spreads fast and has a great sprayer on it that doesn’t clog or quit working! Ever! I even had bottles left over from last year that still worked! Can’t say that for other brands. Wish I could be a spokesgal for this brand I love it that much!! I have not tried the non mineral versions but this mineral spray in any scent is da momma Bomb! Kids love it and we even use it too! Don’t think you won’t have to apply after 50-80 minutes, because like with mostly all sunscreens- you WILL have to reapply. But I don’t mind because the scent is deliciously tropical, light and easy to work with product. The little stick versions are a wonderful and convenient product as well.

Really good if your on or by the water or doing hikes, I live in a high elevation area so the sun is strong this stuff is my favorite. Do need to clean the whole it sprays out of cause it can get crusty and stop working but that does the trick.

I love this sunscreen, but some went wrong with the spray nozzle after a few uses, and nothing will come out. Almost a whole can went to waste
