Works as designed and happy with the price. I used this to talk to two Keller LevelRat pressure sensors and an embedded Linux device on an RS485 network. it was my first time setting up an RS485 network, and this made it easy to troubleshoot using Windows tools for RS485 and modbus.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant little device that works exactly as described! I bought the DSD TECH SH-U10 USB to RS485 Converter for Modbus to communicate with some solar batteries, and it performed perfectly. The drivers installed easily on my Windows laptop without any issues, and the connection to the batteries was instant. It pulled all the data I needed smoothly and reliably, with no dropouts or connection problems. The build quality feels solid, and the cable is a good length — ideal for working in tight spaces. I was really impressed with how stable the communication was, even during longer sessions. For the price, it’s excellent value and a must-have if you’re working with Modbus systems or solar setups.
