Napisan Non Biological Stain Remover, 800 g

When my children were babies in the 1970s I used to wash their nappies in Napisan, (I didn't have a washing machine at the time I used have to hand wash) of course that was before disposable nappies, my neighbours used to comment how lovely and white their nappies always were when I hung them outside to dry. Just lately I have been having trouble with my white and coloured items, I think it's something to do with my washing machine only using cold water (I thought I was being eco friendly but wish I hadn't bought it, it's useless) I remembered about Napisan and bought it, it gets all the stains out after soaking for a while, I'm very pleased I remembered it

This product is brilliant not just 4 soaking nappies. But also whites net curtains those black marks on the shirt collars n thr brightness is gr8. I always boil wash all my whites n adding this 2 the wash gives me the assurance of good stain removal.

Worth every penny. Boys white polo tops go grey when their mum washes them in a mixed load. Sent to me to whiten. I use hot water and a cup of napisan. Use a wooden spoon to mix . Stir throughout 24 hours soaked in a bucket. I add another half a cup before I go to bed stirring well.the longer you can leave in the better. It whites all white clothes linen if it's been in a mixed load of washing. As I say best left upto 48 hrs to soak .

Overall Impression: I admittedly don't have much experience with products like this, but I bought it to remove some armpit stains and it's done a fairly good job. Not perfect though, so I won't give it 5 stars. Ease of use: I applied this by mixing it with some water in a bowl and rubbing it into the stains by hand. Then I left the t-shirts in warm (at first) water overnight, before putting them in the washing machine. The application was easy enough, if a little messy. The product is in the form of little beads, some of which seemed not to dissolve easily, so there were beads clinging to my clothes as I rubbed it in. In the end I just started dipping the stained areas into the bowl which sped things up considerably. Stain removal: This was the sole reason I bought this product, and for the price I can't say I'm disappointed. I've attached some photos of the end result, unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to tale a before picture for comparison. I would hazard a guess and say the stains are half as prominent as they were before using napisan. The smell that would soon appear after putting the clothes on and sweating a little has also disappeared. I wouldn't expect any miracles if your stains have accumulated over a long period, but this product definitely helps at least a little. It might be the case that with repeat uses they will disappear entirely, I haven't tried. Top tip: If you're using this to get rid of yellow armpit stains like I was, then it's probably caused by aluminium in deodorants/anti-perspirants. I would do a little shopping around to look for some aluminium-free alternatives. They won't stop you sweating as much, but it should prevent future stains and they will still get rid of body odour just as effectively. Happy shopping!

I liked this allot, really good at removing stains from the kids clothes and whitened them too, puts your mind at rest that it kills all the bacteria. I'll continue to use this product. Very useful to keep in, especially if you've got kids.

Excellent stain remover and white brighter, does what it says on the box! I found this to be a better product than the likes of vanish and would definitely recommend Napisan over any brand as it really does perform outstandingly well! Downside it is a little over priced for the amount you get, and you have to be very careful when pouring out the product as it can get everywhere! Other than that, highly recommended!

Happy with purchase, does what it says pre soak in a bucket first then washed for extra stubborn stains or marks , and to keep my whites as white as possible , will definitely be buying more and would recommend

Fantastic stuff for baby clothes! Overpriced though as found same box in Tesco half the price
