Some consideration should be made as to which way you want them to open, which can be counterintuitive - consider how you will be returning the cable back in rather than how you'll be taking it out. I've repositioned a few of them and very happy that the adhesive can be reused, just give it a wipe with some iso alcohol.I mostly use them to keep USB leads for charging and docking hidden and handy but and the clips themselves are big enough on the inside to accomodate thicker power/video cables if that's your aim. Quite durable and blends in with my walls/desk/etc.If your target surface is prepped and cleaned the hold is a superior one, I mounted one vertically and both the clip spring and the mounting adhesive are strong enough to support the weight of my smartphone, so I can just pop my phone on the clip, plug it in, and put the cable back there when done, and so I've also installed one on my car dash and that's been holding up for a while - I didn't expect it to.

Nice clips and seem to work well. They are well made and have a nice spring weight to them. The adhesive seems adequate for my application but can't speak to the long term effectiveness. Decent price so can't go wrong!

Stick well to surfaces, and hole is small enough to prevent ends from slipping through (tested with USB-C and Garmin watch charger).Cables don’t snag on the clip making them useful as storage when cable is not in use and on a desk that is height adjustable.A good buy.

I bought these to keep my iPhone charging cable neatly out of the way while using CarPlay in my car.The spring-loaded design works extremely well. There is enough pressure to keep the cable securely tidied during normal use, but if I need to retrieve my phone quickly when stopped at a toll booth, pulling the cable firmly causes the clip to open and release it. This avoids placing unnecessary strain on either the cable or its connection to the phone.The clips are also spacious enough to hold two charging cables together while still leaving some wiggle room.Installation couldn’t be easier. The pre-applied 3M double-sided tape adheres securely on the first attempt, and I haven’t had a single clip come loose—even during the recent hot weather.I genuinely can’t find anything I dislike about them. I’ll be buying another pack, as everyone else in the house has now claimed the remaining clips from this one!
