Zoopod T8 4FT LED Tube Light Fixture To Replace Fluorescent Dual-End Powered, Ballast Bypass, 18W (40W Equiv), 6000K Daylight,Warm White 3000K, Frosted Cover,Garage Warehouse Shop Lights 10Pack 25Pack - desertcart.com Review: Works as advertised. - Converted all of my shop lights to LED using these bulbs. You have to remove the ballast, as the products states. You may need some extra wire depending how long the old ballast wires are. Mine were fine. Now my shop is bright with no florescent hummmmm. I waited a while before writing this review to make sure they would last. So far, no issues. Review: Good update for old bulbs - The change-over from ballast driven tubes to these took 10-15 minutes on my first fixture, then 5 then a couple. Easy-peasy. They are bright and quiet. There is a slight delay when you flick the switch, which was noticeable because I had quick start tubes. But if you have old style tubers, this will seem fast.

Great Light - With a slight delay
Pro: Great Light output, Great color consistency, Easy install Con: Small delay on start Great Light output (even in the cold garage). Does require removing the ballast, but that is a simple process for anyone with even basic electrical knowledge. The only drawback I found is that there is a 1+ second delay from when the light switch is flipped to when the lights come on. Overall the delay is not bad, but when you are used to the light instantly popping on when you flip the switch, there is just enough time for you to question if there is a problem. See video for an idea. (sorry for the "shakycam") Overall, even with the slight delay, I would absolutely buy again.

Good
They are not instant on but close. Perhaps 1/2 a second. Light is good. No buzzing.

... 3000-3500K lamps into 4 light into 2 fixtures and all have failed after 1-1/2 years
Don't know why they just started not coming back on. Some came back on after 30 min or so...then completely failed never to come on again. Will never buy again.
