Poor material
I finally got to use this tent and is extremely disappointed. This tents leaks with just the night dew. I can't imagine how wet the inside would have been if it actually rained.

Tent is heavier than claimed.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a lighter weight tent Design: I bought his tent because it said it weighed only 2.3 lbs , or 2lbs 4.8 oz. Well, just the tent without the bag or stakes weigh that much, but with them it weighs 2lb 10oz.

SO Light (4.5/5 stars)
This is a lovely little tent for the most part. 4.5/5 stars! I'll round up because at this price point, it is an outstanding value. I can't afford any other ultralight tent. I know it says it's a two person tent but I can't imagine sharing it with anyone, but if you like to snuggle it might work out. I haven't used it in the rain, but I expect it to perform fine because of the material. I would like it if the bathtub floor came up higher on the side with the vent. This is the tent's biggest drawback. Be careful where you pitch it because of this. I also would like a guy line on the middle of the vent cover to secure it. This tent took me awhile to set up on the first try. The sacrifice of weight is time. Practice before you take it in the field. You need all the guy lines (great design btw!) and two trekking poles. It takes some adjusting to get it right so things are tight. You will also need some additional paracord and trees or sticks if you want to elevate the part of the rainfly like an awning. I would camp with this tent in some low stakes places so you know it well (both for setup and what it can handle) before you take it out on the trail. I will report back after I've used the tent a few more times. Tip: Be sure to get a groundcloth to make sure you protect the bottom of the tent as much as possible.

Nice, bargain-level UL tent.
My hiking parter and I used this on a 4-day trip in early October into Chicago Basin outside of Durrango where it rained pretty much every night. As a light-weight tent that won't break the bank....it's nice. It's easy to setup, packs down nicely, and it's what you expect for a <$100 tent. The vestibule was perfect for getting some shelter to cook a meal, change into your boots, etc and for the most part it did it's job. The downside is that it's a single walled tent and it traps a lot of humidity inside the tent. So, with two people and rainy weather, we had moisture inside from condensation once the outside temperature dropped below the dew point. That's a typical problem with all single-walled tents. I did use it on another trip as a 1-man tent and didn't have the condensation problem. I think with 2 people in the tent, the back vent (shown in the photo) doesn't do its job and you get condensation. The other downside as a 2-person tent is that one person is always crawling over the other...again, I'm religating this as 1 person tent.
