Inexpensive and effective!
I've tried a few brands on Amazon but this has got to be the best one that I have found. It's so easy to apply and it doesn't have an overwhelming chemical smell. My poor pup has a flea allergy or irritation and after one day of application, his excessive scratching and gnawing stopped. I will most definitely be buying this again.

Play and take medicine.
I was introduced to this by my doctor that takes care of my little pet it really works good and it's a shame that you can't get them anymore around where I live.

My go to brand
I have a Siberian Husky and have been using this for the past couple years with no problems. We have had no fleas and no ticks at all. We recently got a cat and started using Provecta for cats also with no issues. It has an odd smell, I swear it makes my dogs breath smell like the medicine for the day which is weird but great product and reasonable price!

Works Great!
This has the same ingredients as K9 Advantix II for dogs. I think fleas have become immuned to all the other flea products. This is the only one I have found in the past 2 years that actually works. There is another brand with these same ingredients, but this one was less expensive. If you have cats that lick on your dog, do not use this product. It contains Permethrin and is poisonous to cats and can kill them if ingested.

Upset my dogs tummy.
It upset my dog's tummy more than other products but didn't make her really sick. She was lethargic for a day or two. It worked somewhat on the fleas but didn't last the whole month.

My dog almost died from this product
Please be leery of using this product on your pet. I just used this for the first time on my healthy 35 lb, 5 year old dog about a month ago after reading good reviews about the product. I tried several different top of the line flea products last year on him and they did not seem to work, so I decided to try this one this year. My dog became severely anemic and lethargic. Would not eat or drink. I am up to about $1000.00 in vet bills right now, trying to get him back to health. Tests so far have shown that there is no underlying health problems with my dog. I am just putting this out there so no one has to go through what I have been dealing with, and so your pet does not have to suffer like mine did. This is a pesticide and I really think that it poisoned my dog. I have never written a bad review about a product before and I order often from Amazon. Thank You! I only gave this product a one star rating because it would not let me proceed by leaving the rating blank.

Works well, not as stinky as some others
I've been using Provecta for about 6 months now for my Mini Aussies and haven't had any issues. No skin, flea, or tick issues. They don't spend a ton of time outside or in wooded areas but we do go to the dog park often. It stinks for the first couple days after putting it on until it dries well but its not as bad as some others I've tried. I love K9 Advantix and this is the best smelling generic I've been able to find to save a few $$, and not compromise the effectiveness at the same time.
