A nice crimp tool at a good price and it works well

I ended up buying these to do the job properly after a wire came free from a terminal I had ‘crimped’ with pliers on my motorbike heated grips. You can’t beat the right tools for the right job. Well made ratchet crimping tool at a reasonable price.

Great job for the money £10 or £12 surprisingly good quality.

Used this to repair a connector block damaged by water ingress. I found that getting the proper crimp was a little difficult especially in cramped conditions. The quality of the crimp is related to how square you can get and proper placement of the pin in the receptacle. Once properly oriented the crimp is very nice and neat. If it is not the crimp comes out pretty messy but I suppose any of the tools available would do the same. The tool it’s self is quite nicely made with smooth operation and a nice amount of weight to it and the ratchet operates well, the release also engages well and is easy to use.

Unfortunately the anvils on these crimping pliers moved every time I tried to use them, despite tightening the securing screw (and trying with them loosened to see if that helped). This meant they misaligned so would not crimp effectively at all - returned very shortly after receiving them and trying them for a refund, and bought a different brand with lots of interchangeable jaws which worked much better.

Looks and feels fine to use. However I've had more than usual crimp failures with this tool. Not sure why, unexpected and inconsistent results.

In de beschrijving staat bereiken van de tang tot 14AWG (2,5mm2) terwijl de geleverd tang slechts ern bereiken tot 16AWG (1,5mm2) heeft. Ik heb niet gekregen wat de advertentie vertelde(foto 1 is wat er geadverteerd werd, foto 2 is wat ik ontvangen heb)

This wire crimping tool works great on small open barrel terminals which would take 22 - 24 gauge wires. Great crimping tool for this application, I have not had any issues with the wire coming loose in the terminal after crimping.

I am using this for a project car. I didn't want ugly butt connectors or soldered and electrical taped connections. So I got this crimper to go along with factory style connectors. Using connectors with this crimper literally takes no more time any the generic connectors. Super easy to use and crimps the wires tight enough to not pull out. It lasted long enough to do a dozen connectors.
