Samsung Galaxy A55 5G 128GB Lilac

I upgraded from a 9 year old OnePlus 5T to this A55. I was dreading the tedious process of getting all my old contacts, photos, music, apps etc transferred. It was a doddle! Putting the two phones side by side, with the SIM moved to the new phone, starts a magic process of data transfer. Contacts, apps, music, photos, Google login details. My old phone had WiFi access - I don't know if that was needed. Ingenious and very welcome. Mine isn't really "awesome" lilac - more pale with a hint of rainbow effect (iridescence). Not that it matters as it's going into a case of a different colour anyway. The model on the outer box is SM-A556E. On the inner box SM-A556E/DS (Dual SIM). It is top and bottom SIM rather than side-by-side. In the box: 1. Phone 2. Metal pin for ejecting the SIM 3. White USB C cable 4. Samsung Care+ page 5. Warranty Card (Australia Only) page 6. Quick Start Guide. All it tells you is how to put the SIM in. The phone came with Android 14. It went through several automatic updates and is now on Android 16. The fingerprint login has worked every time. I use my pointing finger. Rapid charging is, er, rapid. Trickle charge works fine too if you don't have a Rapid Charger. The phone is currently 40% after two days of ad-hoc use with WiFi permanently on. I'm a lightweight phone user. I play nothing more exciting than Solitaire card games, take some photos, messaging and internet browsing now and then. This phone should easily last me another 9 years. Caution - the rear cameras are raised. If you put the phone on a surface which has the tiniest of tilts the phone always slides off. This is because the full rear face is not in contact with the surface, so there is very little friction to stop it sliding. Mine has slid off the arm of my leather sofa onto the carpet several times now. I thought I had a ghost in the house pushing it off, until I fathomed it out. Other than that - the A55 exceeds the tick boxes I need check. No regrets on getting the A55 over the newer A56.

Price was cheaper than elsewhere.

This phone arrived today, I have my reservations as the box and booklet and stickers are all in Russian.... as was the text in the phone which was easy enough to change. I am wary that I may have issues as this is clearly a Russian phone. We shall see. Other than that delivered within 2 days. Phone as described. Only negative so far is its a very chunky blocky phone, and no headphone jack.... I have to buy a USB-C headphone adaptor or get USB-C headphones.

Fed up of buying mega expensive phones and not making use of a fraction of their capabilities. This phone is reasonably priced does everything I want it to do and looks great. Easy to navigate. Really good battery life and great sound quality.

What an amazing phone at a fantastic price!

Legitimate, a working official Samsung phone. Arrived through the mail with no problems. Advantages: It has very good speakers, much better than that of my last phone - very clear and loud, high quality sound. Disadvantages: The selfie camera is still quite weak. A bit stronger than that of my last phone, but still very basic and low-resolution.

Great phone in a lovely colour. I am very happy with it.

Tracked and arrived via Royal Mail postal service. Package is genuine, the box is sealed and secure. An affordable mid-range Samsung mobile phone. First time Samsung user, my previous phone was a gold Huawei P9. (A quality phone) that finally died. Cannot afford an I-Phone (not for me). Wanted more choice, and a personal affordable phone for general light use; something that I could purchase in full. It’s heavier than my previous phone, but it is made of quality materials (*not plastic). Happy with my purchase, I would purchase from this seller again.

Kaufentscheidung war für mich der unschlagbare Preis, wenngleich auch als Gebrauch gekauft. Ich wollte ein *neues* Handy und ich wollte eines von Samsung und ich wollte eines aus der A-Serie, da ich mit dieser Reihe vertraut bin, das 51er, 52er und jetzt wollte ich das Vorletzte Modell ( stand 2026) haben, da dies meine Preisklasse entsprach, ohne einen neuen Vertrag abschließen zu müssen. Und da ich die Vorgänger schon hatte, habe ich einen direkten Vergleich und, mal abgesehen von der Geschwindigkeit nur wenige Unterschiede bemerken. Auffällig ist, dass es kein Plastikgehäuse mehr ist sondern ein Metallrahmen hat, weiter kann man auch nur noch eine Nano-Sim-einsetzen und der Anschluss für Kopfhörer fällt hier gänzlich weg, war er doch noch in der 52er Reihe vorhanden und konnte Alternativ mit Bluetooth und Klinke benutzt werden. Cameras sind optisch auch 2 weggefallen. Unterschiede sind für mich aber kaum erkennbar Ich würde much auch wieder für die A-Reihe entscheiden. Da sie im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach nur gute Handys machen und ich bin Samsung-Fan

Acheté il y a quelques mois et pour le moment rien à dire ! Le rapport qualité/prix est bon, le design sympa. A voir s’il dure dans le temps.
