I find this too small for beginners. There's a lot of wheel bite with little rocks. Board itself is flexible, feels like it's going to break in the long run. No grip at all, so I found it very slippery to ride.

wheel fell off in less than a year of use

The bearings that come on this thing are so comically bad, I couldn't help but laugh. I put some Reds in em and they rolled great. But in my opinion the board is pointless overall unless you live in a city with the cleanest streets ever, because despite the wheels being sorta big, they are so hard that they can't really take any obstruction. Because the wheelbase is so small, having hard wheels is especially dangerous. I ate it after rolling at a not-low speed into this teeny rock pictured. I was so mad I picked it up and brought it home to post this. If you just want to pay the price for some 6 inch trucks and a waffle board, then sure, pick this thing up and replace the wheels and bearings (which you should throw out). It's nice that it can fit snugly inside a duffel bag.

This is one of those rare purchases where you feel like you're getting more than what you paid for. Simply put, this is an excellent board. It just happens to also be an incredible value.

The picture is deceitful, it’s a smaller skateboard, it’s basically a plastic toy for children not adults you can get hurt.
