DEWENWILS Outdoor Power Stake Timer with Remote Control, Dusk to Dawn Timer

This little device arrived quickly and is very well made feeling. It has 3 outlets on the front and 3 on the back side. It feels robust and should withstand weather pretty well. It is a decent size so you have room for outdoor decorations and lights. This is as simple as simple gets to install. It comes with a sturdy 2 piece plastic stake that screws into the bottom. A very nice feature. It has a remote control to allow you access to all the on board functions. The remote handles the on off also on the main unit. It also handles the timer functions so you don't need to go outside to reset or set it on the main unit c Only one function is not remote controlled and this is the light receptor on the front side of the main unit. Since we live in a very wet climate with tornado wind speeds blowing rain in every possible direction seemingly at once. I don't doubt this can withstand rainfall in locations without higher winds. Just what I did with this unit - Sharing the idea to help others. Some reviews say this device isnt as waterproof as it says. Some say it fails after a short time. So with that I decided to try this idea. The project has been working extremely well and also has kept it totally dry. The only downside is no light can reach the light sensor. I bought a plastic electrical box also used for putting plug extenders in, and connecting extension cords so they remain dry. I got the medium sized one found on Amazon and I taped over the back 3 plugs on this device and placed the device into the box and ran the power cord out and the deck lights in. I had to splice the power cord to make it longer using an equal guage wire and amp rating as the power cord. Used electrical tape to seal up the connection and some 3M heavy duty extreme weather tape to wrap the electrical tape in to insure it stays dry. This box can be left sitting on the ground or mounted to a wall, deck, or in my case the railing of my deck in a spot just under the outdoor BBQ table I use. As for the device: It is really great, we love the remote feature as it is not line of site and controls things from about 25 feet away perfectly. I 100% would recommend this device for anyone looking to have some control of outdoor lights and decorations. But understand everything has its limitations. Our environment would be overwhelming for this device if left out in the elements. Heads up if you are not comfortable with my project mentioned then do not attempt it yourself. Please ask someone who has experience to help.

Works great! I am impressed and I didn’t have to use the remote. It automatically powers on at night and powers down by itself. Halloween decorations looking good 😊

This was a life saver and it works in all weather types..

I have used this steak for a few seasons s and I love it. I just wish it was easier to plug in the inflatables with the square plugs, it would be nice if the doors flipped up and not to the side.

Why didn’t I get this sooner? So convenient, so easy to set up. I set mine from dusk til dawn . Just came on around 7:15pm. Amazing. I barely had to read the directions and that’s how I like my electronic Items 😂

I love to put up decorations so this makes things so much easier to turn on and off with the controller

I loved this item so much that I bought a second one for the backyard lights as well but it failed in less than 90 days. The dusk to dawn setting is amazing for the led lights I use on porch instead of a traditional porch light but now it's back to the porch light. I was going to buy another for our Halloween and Christmas decor but now I feel there's no point in buying another one for less than 90 days of use. Super bummed. Updated my review of this product because nothing is prefect but when customer services makes it right it makes ALL the difference in the world! They sent me a brand new one that works perfectly and kept a customer. I have one in front of my house and in back and their wonderful. Thank you!

This DEWENWILS outdoor power stake time solved my Holiday decoration electrical distribution issues. I was able to centrally locate this hub and then disburse electricity in many different directions to power all of my yard decorations. This unit eliminated the need for multi-outlet plug adaptors, which are inconvenient and could pose a safety risk. The ability to set the ON/OFF timer to one of many options is a huge plus. It also has a remote control for turning on/off or setting a timer from the comfort of your living room. I am so glad I found this item to manage and minimize the number of the extension cords used for decorating. 5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I read reviews too, and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that you find this review helpful!
