I went and got some blood work recently and found out my magnesium levels were low. I started to supplement with this and about a week later started feeling back to normal. Never underestimate the effectiveness of a balanced diet!

Buffered magnesium glycinate (with magnesium oxide)
This is a great magnesium supplement - but do be aware that it is "buffered" with magnesium oxide. They don't specify exactly how much magnesium oxide is in this, but it's likely a substantial amount considering each capsule contains 50% daily value magnesium. Pure magnesium glycinate supplements are typically only around 25% daily value per capsule. The bioavailability is good and I can feel pronounced effects and relaxation around an hour after taking 2-3 of these. I take them nightly to enhance my sleep and recovery, and for general health and wellness. Overall - great magnesium supplement if you are a looking for a buffered form that contains lower bioavailability oxide. I personally like 100% amino acid forms such as glycinate.
