I needed this for my GPS and it’s working wonderfully. I would get it again.

I purchased this for a 2004-vintage Canon camera (m/n SD200). I already had a full-size SD card adapter. When I inserted it and turned on the camera, l got a “memory card error” message. However, via the menu, I had to format the card for proper set-up with the camera. Works like a champ with a very nice amount of memory for the camera. An excellent and low cost solution!

THE NON SDHC/SDXC CARDS ARE STILL SDHC CARDS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING SPECIFICALLY FOR SD CARDS FOR OLD CAMERAS, PHONES, 2007 AND OLDER DEVICES THESE WILL NOT WORK. This is an awkward one to review and i'll still give 4 stars because well the product is absolutely an sd card and does work for most use cases. Just not for my niche intended purpose WHICH is niche and im the exception but the product was still misleadingly labelled. I was looking specifically for standard as in non HC/XC variants because older technology like flip phones, old digital cameras can not use SDHC/SDXC at all. The 2gb and below sd cards here do not have the sdhc or xc branding the larger formats has which makes sense, standard sdcards only went up to 2gb in capacity and capped at best at class 4 speeds. The cards i bought were the smaller capacity and lower speeds and without HC/XC branding. Cards did not work for my older digital camera and older flip phone i use for photos. I tried to format them and found they are in fact SDHC. These cards will work just fine and are good for the price for generally everyone's use. But if you are buying these because the lower capacity ones lack HC/XC Branding and want to use them for old camcorders/cameras/phones/devices from pre 2007 they won't work. Only knocking a star off because they are still misleadingly labeled.

I bought this 8GB Lerdisk SDHC card intending to use it for blackbox logging on a flight controller (INAV firmware, SD card accessed in SPI mode — common on FPV/RC flight controllers). It repeatedly failed to initialize with a "Startup failed" error, even after multiple clean FAT32 reformats using the official SD Card Formatter tool. Pros: Works completely fine as standard USB mass storage — mounts, reads, and writes without issue Passed a full CHKDSK scan (/f /r) with zero filesystem errors or bad sectors — the flash itself appears healthy Fine for everyday file storage, backups, or any device that talks to it over normal USB/card-reader protocols Cons: Failed to initialize specifically in SPI mode, which is how many flight controllers and embedded devices access SD cards directly Swapping to another brand card the exact same slot immediately resolved the issue, isolating the problem to this card rather than the device No indication on the packaging that SPI-mode compatibility might be limited, which would only matter to a subset of buyers (drone/FPV/embedded hobbyists) but is worth flagging Bottom line: If you need this for basic file storage, it works as expected. If you're buying it for a flight controller, single-board computer, or any device that reads SD cards over SPI, be aware it may not init correctly — a more established brand may be a safer bet for that use case.

Compatibility was great, speed is average, formatting okay, reliability so so, portability fine, but the storage capacity is deceiving. Once I it started the disc into my security camera it did not read 8 GB it read 6.5 GB which is a rip off. I'm too lazy to send it back but this is a crappy product. Is crappy a bad word. It's a deceitful product
