It works!
This back pack really stops you from turning over at night. The product is well built and looks like it will last for ages. There's padding down the back so it is as comfortable as any padded ruck sack. There is a padded waist clip as well so you can lock it on to your body at the top and bottom, straps are long so i think it will accommodate most sized people. I like it! As far as using it is concerned, I found that finding the correct tightness on the shoulder straps is a bit of trial and error. The plastic that allows you to tighten the shoulder straps is strong and robust but i found that it was so big that if i slept with it on tightly, i would roll onto it and cut off circulation in my upper arm. Once loosened off the problem went though. It needs to be tight enough so that you don't move around in the straps but loose enough that you miss the buckle. For me, it could do with another strap between the shoulder straps to pull them together a bit nearer the middle of your chest, then i could have it all tight and not cut off circulation. Obviously, everyone's body is a different size and shape so the problem i experienced may not occur for everyone. I suspect that it is a matter of taking a few nights to get used to it, possible changing where you put your arms. I can now sleep all night through on my side - exactly what i was wanting! Good quality, comfy (after a bit of practice) and it works! That's 5 stars from me.

Works very well and is comfy
Really pleased with my backpack. Very comfortable, I’m not really aware of it during the night. Does stop me rolling onto my back without waking me. Only issue is blow up ‘bladder’ does start to deflate. Hence 4 not 5 stars.

Did not work for me - hurts to wear
An expensive waste of money. Medically recommended but what ensued was a week of very little sleep and considerable lower back pain (which took a further week to recover from after I abandoned the backpack as lost cause). There has to be a better solution. I’m not tall but back pack sat very high up on my body so gave no lower back support - which aggravated a bulged disk in my lower back. The shoulder straps also cut in the moment I leant on the backpack in bed. To make you laugh, in my desperation to adhere to medical advice, I even tried wearing it upside down and also with its Velcro arm straps belted around my waist - apart from looking even more ridiculous, neither option helped.

I think this device is helpful for positional sleep apnoea
I have had OSA for years. So I bought this decvice and used it for the first time last night. I genuinely found it gave me confidence that I would sleep better. Although it felt a bit unusual and slightly uncomfortable for the first 10 minutes, it was easy to get used to. When I woke through the night the night, I took it off but found it was easy to put on just with the shoulder straps and it was still effective. I had my doubts about this but I’m pretty sure now that my sleep Naya is positional. The results of the blood saturation on Fitbit indicate for fewer spikes in a more consistent oxygen level

Check your size
It took a few weeks to get used to sleeping with this on, but it does work. My only problem with it is that I'm quite small 5ft 4 and weigh 8st something, so even the small one was a bit too big and I could wriggle on to my back in my sleep so I had to have the straps super tight. I think it's as comfortable as it can be. I have slept without it and stayed on my side so I don't think you need to wear it permanently. It's very well made and good quality. My partner would def reccomend it as now he gets sleep, and I would too.

A sound idea but the execution is expensive and uncomfortable.
I have OSA with an AHI of 9 but when lying on my side it reduces significantly so I had high hopes for this product in terms of helping me to stay sleeping on my side throughout the night. First impressions were that this product is very heavy with quite thick material and essentially just a backpack with an inflatable inside it. The quality of the materials was very good but I found it made me very hot at night which isn't ideal for someone like me who gets hot at night anyway. When putting the item on for the night, it felt quite cumbersome straight away. With the idea of this product being to help people sleep on their sides, it was very frustrating to find that the shoulder straps dig into your shoulder and neck and also the waist strap is very noticeable in terms of being able to feel it putting pressure on your side. The product seems to do everything it can to make sleeping on your side uncomfortable which, for people like me who suffer with OSA and find sleeping hard enough as it is, is very disappointing. I've rated the product 3 stars as the item does in fact stop you rolling over in your sleep but it comes at a high cost in terms of comfort and for me, didn't help at all in getting more sleep due to how uncomfortable it was to wear. I ended up returning the item and the refund process was seamless which is one positive.

Didn't work
Good idea, but straps still too uncomfortable and dig in to much to be able to sleep.

This works for me
I purchased this despite the mixed reviews and I'm so glad I did. It is effective - forcing me to stay on my side while I sleep thereby reducing my sleep apnea and helping me get a better sleep. Being forced to sleep on one side is never going to be entirely comfortable and I do wake to switch sides but this backpack makes it as comfortable as possible.

Lifesaver if you have sleep apnea and don't want to mess with CPAP
I bought this about a year ago and have used it every night since. It had a slight odor from the foam, I washed it in the washing machine and that went away as soon as it dried (line dry...not dryer). So in a day I was good to go. If you inflate the air bladder full, you CANNOT sleep on your back, it basically keeps you ninety degrees to the bed. I found that too much. So I let around half the air out of the bladder, and with that setting I can roll from one side to the other, and I could sleep somewhat on my back, but if I do my head is elevated and I don't snore. However, 95% of the time I don't sleep any on my back. The point is, you can adjust the bladder to give any level of partial or none at all back sleeping. It took a day to get the bladder set right, and since then I've worn it every night, never needed to reset it. Likewise, it took a day to find the best use of the straps for me. I like the backpack style just over the shoulders, not X'd across the chest. I find it more comfy, though either works fine. So, by two days in I had it all adjusted and ever since then it takes about 15 seconds a night to put it on last thing before going to bed. You just fasten the Velcro belly strap and lie down. The Velcro, the fabric, the bladder, everything still working like new after, as I said, almost a year. Likewise a few seconds when I get up to set it where it lives. I find it doesn't interfere with sleep quality at all, or ease of going to asleep. It's well made and does the job. I say it's a lifesaver since I sleep with a recording pulse oximeter (Wellvue "Sleepu" available from Amazon, finger ring sensor and wrist strap for device, highly recommended) and it was showing me an ODI of 15 or so, and sometimes SpO2 as low as 61, which was scary. Since I started using the backpack a typical ODI is around 0.5 (no apnea) and typical minimum SpO2 is over 90%. [Doc says you worry when it's under 88% for 5 minutes...which it was, pre-backpack and never since.] I recently finally had a full-blown sleep study where he confirmed the backpack has solved my issue. Highly recommend it for sleep apnea. Note: For "obstructive" sleep apnea, where the problem is lying on your back and your tongue etc. interfering with your airway. There is also "central" sleep apnea in a minority of people where the issue is malfunctioning nerve control, as I understand it. I don't think it would solve that problem. Consult a doctor if you have any doubt what your issue is or if you have an issue. But this puppy works great to comfortably let you sleep on your side, or partially on your back.

Rimligt pris. Rekommenderas!
