Excellent incisive read with great pictures

A must if you own a Brompton and would like to know how and where it came from.

Great book for Brompton nerds.

Just arrived and looked through this book, if you have or like Brompton bikes buy this book, it is so nice, well written, great photos, would make a very nice present as well.

Lots of pages can be skipped to go to the latest additions. If you are buying this, don't bother with the early editions as this covers all upto 2020.

This is a book about the history of Brompton. I’d prefer if it was more maintenance based. There’s a list of serial numbers at the back.

This provides a pretty thorough history of how the Brompton came to be. I bought it thinking it was more a maintenence manual but came away with a much deeper understanding of the company, its trials and errors and the people and various iterations of the design and manufacturing process. I enjoyed it and feel I “know” my Brompton better, both mechanically and historically.

Excelente livro, com muitas ilustrações. Conta a história das bicicletas dobráveis até chegar à Brompton e suas diversas versões. Tem uma linguagem simples, cativante e empolgante, para os amantes das bikes e para quem deseja conhecer um pouco da histórias de seu criador e até onde alcançou o sonho de um engenheiro que em 1973 teve a ideia de criar uma bicicleta que pudesse ser levada para todos os lugares e pudesse ser acomodada nos diversos modais de transporte. Ainda não terminei de ler, mas acho que vou sentir falta do livro, quando eu terminar a leitura.
