I have braids/box braids/locs — will these fit?

Absolutely. 23.6" stretch + deep crown fits box braids, locs, cornrows & twist-outs without crushing. For extra-long braids, gather on top first for best fit.

Do they rip easily? I've had disposable caps tear just unfolding them.

Thicker plastic than standard — many get 2-3 uses per cap. Unfold gently, don't yank. Rare defects? Amazon replaces instantly.

Can I really use these for sourdough bread proofing?

Absolutely! Elastic seals tight around bowls & baskets — warm, draft-free rise. Clear plastic = check progress without lifting. Sourdough, artisan, pizza dough all work.

Do these have a strong plastic smell? I've thrown away caps before because of the odor.

Aired during manufacturing to reduce scent. Faint smell out of the box fades fast — not the harsh chemical odor from other brands. Air out a few hours if needed.
