Nearsighted Swim Goggles, Shortsighted Optical Swimming Goggles No Leaking Anti Fog UV Protection for Adult Men Women

These have been an absolute game changer for my 11yo. They fit great, they look like regular googles, but he can actually see (without the crazy high price tag of the ones at the eye doctor). He leaves them on even when he’s out of the pool because it helps him so much. They definitely fog more as the summer goes on, and I don’t see them lasting more than a couple months with regular wear. But for this price, it’s worth it!

Extremely well designed. I got these because of a recent los of vision in one eye and am paranoid about protecting my one remaining eye. This protects from splashes and bumps from others in the pool and provides very clear vision without too much sacrifice of peripheral vision as inherent in goggles. I especially like the multiple options for the nose piece (many googles are too big and with the smaller nose piece these fit perfectly, comfortably and no leaks. Haven't had fogging issues either.

These goggles are okay for the price. When I compared these to the many other goggles I have tried these are the ones that are the closest prescription to mine. It also one of the few that has that high of prescription. They are a bit tinted so they do not get too much glare for me. They also do fog up as much as many other goggles do unfortunately so that is a bit annoying. They keep the water out and fit perfectly for my head. It is adjustable if it becomes uncomfortable. The adjustment is not very easy though. Honestly I feel like the bands will break. There is no case that comes with it so it is not as easy to store the goggles in. After every swim I wash the goggles and clean it to keep the coating on the goggles from wearing down. That being said the goggles are a bit easy to scratch regardless. It is more noticeable on the color of the coating. Overall I do like these goggles and they are for my prescription. The problem is that the goggles get a bit easy to fog and scratched easily. It also is hard to adjust.

I bought these for my 7 year old son who has a significant astigmatism (-4!) after reading a good review in an article. After installing the smaller nose piece, they fit his face well. They also fit our adult faces well too (with the different nose piece). He was so happy to be able to see underwater! They seem to be great quality and a good value. They pass the suction test and are easy to put on/take off. Prescription goggles are expensive and we know our son's prescription will likely change as he grows so these are a great solution. Overall, if you need corrective lenses and goggles these are an excellent and inexpensive solution.

I selected these goggles based on a NYT review by AnneMarie Conte. My optician helped me purchase the right lens correction. They are terrific and cost 2 times less than Tyr goggles which lasted many years. The strap adjustments are much easier and very precise. Eventually I made them fit looser because they work well. This met my goal for comfort. The nose adjustments are useful and easy to change. As the goggles are wider than most swimming goggles, they pick up a little drag which is fine as my goal was comfort for a longer swim. I have not noticed any smearing issues on the polarized lens exterior. There is a little but does not affect the vision.

Now I am a casual swimmer and I am a child at heart and love to swim underwater pretend to be mermaids, do flips underwater, etc. Used to be a contacts wearer, but not anymore. So that means I swim with glasses or I flat out can't see. These made it so I can partake in my childish pool shenanigans AND be able to see while doing so. There's no water leakage and they don't really fog up on me. The only thing to note is they are tinted, which is great if you swim in sunny weather like most people. However I go to my apartments outdoor pool in the evening since that's the hour no one is there and I can partake in my mermaid activities in peace. Can still see, but it's darker. P.S. I ordered the -3.5 because one of my eyes is a -4.00 and the other is a -3.75. I figured if the prescription was too strong in one eye I would get headaches so I opted to go down since there weren't the quarter prescriptions available. It works perfect and my sight is good enough, I'm underwater for Pete's sake I don't need crystal clear vision, just some vision.

I was confused and got the wrong strength. They are quality goggles. They have the extra pieces and are good except I made a mistake. I just didn't understand where to get the numbers to get the correct ones.

These prescription swim goggles work very well. It was easy to choose the strength that matched my prescription, and once I put them on, I was impressed by how clearly I could see underwater. The seal is snug and watertight—comparable to the performance of name-brand goggles I’ve used in the past. They stayed in place and didn’t fog up on me. If you need vision correction in the pool, these are a great budget-friendly option.
