Solid, cost effective air cooling option for higher TDP processors!
As Deepcool is persona-non-grata in the US due to how it conducts business, I was not able to snag another AK620 for the latest build based around the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor. Benchmarking of the ID-Cooling Frozn A620 Pro SE at Tom's Hardware led me to believe that this would be a good fit for the build. The Frozn A620 Pro SE arrived in short order and was applied to the 270K Plus CPU along with a Thermalright LGA1851 contact frame. I opted to use Arctic MX-7 instead of the included thermal paste as this cooler may have been sitting around for a while based on how the paste didn't come out of the tube as expected. After connecting everything up and. ensuring the tension was correct for the mounted heatsink, I installed the necessary software to evaluate temperatures. At idle, the processor sits in the low-to-mid 30C range. Under gaming and intense productivity loads, I am not exceeding 65C. While there are slightly larger solutions out there in the air cooling arena, these competing offerings do incur a sizable premium which is much harder to justify. At this price point, ID Cooling did a fantastic job with its design. My taller memory modules didn't require shifting the fan closest to the RAM higher. Directions were clear and mounting was uneventful. At full blast, the fans on the A620 PRO SE are quiet compared to experiences I've had with different manufacturers (Corsair, ThermalRight, AsiaHorse, etc.). You get a LOT of cooling performance with minimal fuss.

Dual tower cpu cooler, up to 270w TDP for $30 and looks great!
Works great, super affordable and keeps my ryzen 7 9700x super cool. Probably overkill to be honest. For roughly $30 for a dual tower with 2000rpm high quality fans, its an excellent buy for warmer cpus. And its not too terribly tall so it'll fit cases up to around 7.5" deep. Highly recommend. If this wont cut it, than you obviously need an AIO. But that's much more and its more risky with leaks unless absolutely necessary for 200w plus cpu.

3x Impressed, Best Budget Dual-Tower Cooler
Original Review: Great cooler, with some caveats. My first cooler came with one tower slightly bent. While I didn't think it was a big deal, I did notice worse thermal performance than I was expecting, and after I unmounted it and applied new thermal paste to test, I noticed a number of fins were bent as well. I requested a replacement, and it came with straight towers and proper thermal performance. I'd recommend asking for a replacement if you receive one that you're suspicious of being out-of-spec. I'm taking one star off for this. During the installation process, you'll need a long #2 Phillips Head. I unfortunately misplaced mine from my workbench, but luckily had one from an old Noctua cooler. YOU WILL NEED ONE, so I'm taking another star off for not including a critical installation tool. You genuinely can't install the cooler without one. --- Review Edit: 3x Impressed Purchaser I am still leaving 1 star off for the initially "damaged" cooler I received, but am editing this review to reflect my long-term use of the cooler. I've also come to appreciate that ID-COOLING did not include any installation tool (long #2 Phillips) with this cooler, as that would simply add waste and production cost to this amazing budget cooler. I've purchased this cooler twice for myself (1 server, 1 desktop), and once for my friend's PC, and have been happy with this cooler each time. After some extensive research before building another desktop, I wanted to see what other budget dual-tower coolers were available. Fortunately, or unfortunately for these companies, I think we've reached close to a zenith of cheap, high-performance coolers. The FROZN A620 PRO SE would absolutely be my suggestion to every builder, assuming their case can accomadate the height. Even the newer Montech NX600 (which I've purchased), is beaten by this cooler for only a few $ more. The NX600 has thicker, more premium fans, which should theoretically offer better cooling, but they are airflow oriented, not pressure optimized like the A620 fans. Therefore, you have to run them faster to acheive the same air pressure that the A620 fans are capable of. This results in the A620 fans being substantially quieter at the same PWM %, and cooling better at noise normalized values. I'm planning to order a 4th A620 to replace my NX600 in other system, as the NX600 is simply too loud.

Great CPU cooler
Bought this for my Intel core i5 11600k. Keeps temps down even during heavy gaming sessions. It was easy to install.

Best Buy rapporto prestazioni/costo

Excellent cooler.
Easy install. Decent Performance. Low noise (not Noctua quiet, but quiet). Looks good. Fairly priced.

Keeps a Ryzen 7 9800x3d cool.
The entire heatsink is a 155mm height cooler. I am currently using an InWin303 with has a maximum of 160mm. I also have large RAM sticks, which made me move the front fan slightly up. Either way, it fits correctly and doesn't touch the tempered glass, which is the reason why I bought the A620 and not the A720. Temperatures are okay: No higher than 63 degrees Celsius during gameplay, with around 46 Celsius with background videos. Silent; can keep my CPU under 85 degrees under stress testing, but obviously it's going to make some noise under those circumstances. Overall I've seen that the Thermalright Peerless Assassin does better, but I chosen this one for aesthetics... And I'm pleased with the results. Recommended.
