Perfect lightweight rain jacket for travel. I’ve been looking for a simple but waterproof rain jacket that I can pack in my day pack during travel. I finally found it! This jacket will not keep you warm, but it certainly will keep you dry. It’s long enough to cover my bum. You can adjust it around the waist with a cord to give a cute shape to the coat. It’s fitted at the wrists. It has taped seams to keep water out. The two deep pockets are zippered. The hood isn’t too large, but easily covers your head. And it’s easy to pack into the included bag. I love it. It’ll be coming with me to London in a month. I have plenty of raincoats for cold weather. But this is perfect for warm weather when you just want to stay dry. Thank you so much!

Better than expected after reading 3 and 4 star reviews. I pay more attention to those when looking for what I want or don’t want in an item. Materials: I was looking for casual accepting this was a packable lightweight windbreaking waterproof rainjacket. So yes, polyester that can have some wrinkling and create noise as you actively wear it. Wrinkles were less noticeable than some packable polyester. Thickness was medium to me - it wouldn’t be as packable as a heavy raincoat - heavier than a light windbreaker but lighter than some waterproof raincoats. Still, packing it into the small bag was a positive for travel and carrying it around for a just-in-case. Size - I’m 5’4” 132# so I ordered a M. Reviews often mentioned size up but as a few had found, it’s either true or loose to my typical M. I found loose but perfect for being able to layer even a thick winter sweater. Length was wonderfully long even if some found it wrong. Makes sense to me that if you want a jacket that you can sit down on a wet bench and keep dry under, the length was great. Warmth vs Coolness - As a lightweight rainjacket that’s a windbreaker it seems perfect for the need of doing both. It won’t keep you very warm in a cold wind but that’s not what it’s for - your outfit under should take care of that. It may turn into a sauna if your walking into a shower on a hot day, but I would wear a much lighter rainjacket over a tank top for that. I live in Hawai’i and have a light rainjacket or an umbrella. This is for traveling in places non tropical, cooler, colder and windier weather that can have sudden downpours, but doesn’t weight down my tote or backpacket yet nice enough to wear over a dinner dress w/o packing a dressier jacket or coat. Value/Price - this is where 4 stars come in. I thought $39 would have been a good price. You can find lined pieces, less noisy rainproof material, thicker material, warmer raincoats for $39 and certainly $49 but… if you’re like me wanting light enough to pack n carry, long enough to sit on, dressy enough for office lunches and dinners out, good head to knee coverage in strong cold winds, this is worth the cost the had.

One of those purchases I didn’t realize I needed until I bought it. Was packing for a month long trip to Europe and ordered it at the last minute on a whim (I chose it because I could get it the next day – – which was the day before I left). I knew Great Britain was famous for rain any time of year so took it just in case. Wow! I love it when stuff performs exactly as it is supposed to. Once I unpacked it I needed it the next week or so, so I didn’t have an occasion to repack it right away. Was concerned about getting it back in the little pouch. The worries were in vain. It folded up so nicely and easily fit back perfectly. And boy, did it keep me dry. I had a couple of ferry rides and stayed outside in the wind and rain just because I wanted to see the ocean. I pulled the hood up around my face and it kept me incredibly well insulated. I use a walker and it is impossible to handle it and an umbrella. Not to worry as I did not need one. And it really is fashionable. I got the pink one (is there another color?). It’s so nice looking, sturdy and looks more expensive than it is. And yet it is incredibly light weight to carry around in a tote. A terrific find! Am going to keep it in my car—ready for anything!

Item appears to be well made but this is a crinkly, very thin, jacket. It wasn't what I expected. What I would call a windbreaker or shell. It is bigger than a similar product if you are looking for a packable windbreaker. I may return the item because it won't offer enough warmth and isn't ideal for a packable waterproof windbreaker. I could see no issues with construction. Very lightweight.

Excellent lightweight raincoat! The XXL provides a roomier fit but I preferred the fitted XL. I needed a raincoat for summer rains in humid weather. Since I'd be in skirts or shorts, this coat hits perfectly at mid-thigh. I love the drawstring on the hood and waist, as well as the fitted wrists. Good windbreaker, too. Note the fabric doesn't breath - if you're in long sleeves and it's cold, no problem but tanks and short sleeves in the heat and the coat will stick to you like a shower curtain. Makes a great travel addition and packs up nicely in a little bag. Highly recommend!

This raincoat is so cute. It cinches at the waist so it gives you a more feminine look. I also like the dual zipper in the front. You can unzip it from the bottom or the top. Makes it easy to sit in the car. Just sit the bottom up a bit so that you can drive comfortably. I love that it's cinched on the sleeves so that water doesn't get in the sleeve of your raincoat. Also, I have very long arms and I'm very tall and this fits wonderfully. I can't believe the sleeves go all the way down past my wrist. The adjustable hood is fantastic! Doesn't fly off your head. Or hang too low over your face. It sits right above the knee. It has a slight slit in the back too. Also good for driving.Completely waterproof and wind proof. I wore this while shelling on a beach in a total downpour. Stayed completely dry. I've looked at so many raincoats and they are so expensive. This does the trick. Some people have mentioned how it feels like plastic. I wouldn't say it feels like plastic, but it's not like a cloth material. Fits true to size Really happy with this purchase.

The coat is very thin so its only purpose is to shield from rain, nothing else, which is what I am looking for. The cut looks pretty much like the photos but it does indeed run a tad tight. At 5'4", 183 lb. I ordered the XL (Amazon recommended L for me but I wanted a roomy fit) and the midsection is very snug so I will be returning and getting a larger size. Seems like a decent quality and the black is all black, body, hardware and all. I like that it comes with a small packing pouch for convenience. I only wish the hat was removable but this is not a deal breaker. Great length- almost up to my knees.

Love the colour it’s even more pretty in real life. Fits great haven’t actually worn it in the rain yet so not sure how waterproof it will be. Very light and easy to pack for my trip to Europe.

Jacket is perfect. Truly water repellant. Love the color - darker teal not bright.Waist draw-string adds a little shape... Double zipper is a MUST - Love that feature.Highly Recommend.

Perfect for me. Planning a summer trip, I did not want to carry a big coat, so if it rains this will work over a sweater.It fits me perfectly. Feels good on my skin, not sticky, like some waterproof jackets.nice and long, two way zip…pockets with zips…good hood.Packs and rolls up into a tiny bag, ideal for my backpack.

Coat came used even though I ordered a new one. The bag was dirty and the coat smelled bad. It's a really plastic material so I can't see it being comfortable to wear for long. If it had a lining it would have been nice. The coat actually looked nice and fit well. I returned it.
