These are the best quality rug pads I could find for a number of Persian rugs I had acquired. They are not cheap but worth it for the quality, "grippy-ness", comfort underfoot, and long term protection of your investment in the rugs. Ours are on hard surface (ceramic tile) floors and wood-laminate floors, and both situations work great. I will say that over time, your rug and pad may scootch away just a bit, depending on the surface they're on, but I usually just edge them back in position when my type-A personality demands it. Okay, I admit it. I'm a picture-straightener, too. If you want the best protection for your rugs, get the best quality pad you can. These fit the bill for me. A little costly but you get what you pay for. Also, they arrived quickly and I found them easy to cut to size. Tip: if you plan to put pads under several different rugs, you may find it useful (as I did) to make a few scale drawings and figure out how to cut multiple pads from one huge rug pad. That's what I did and it saved a lot of money over buying smaller pre-cut pads. Hope this helps. UPDATE: the rug does not move but the rug pad with the rug on top DOES move, together. These are not as grippy as they would have you believe, at least on our ceramic tile, radiant heated floors. I will try some of the sticky gel tape which comes in squares and strips, to see if I can keep the whole shebang from slowly "scooting" across the floor.

Great deal on the 5 x 7 1/4”. This pad adds a thick layer of grip and cushion underneath our new dopamine rug. It stays in place, has zero odor and fits perfectly. I would absolutely buy this again. Massive upgrade from 1/8” thick!

After purchasing & returning two rug pads with terrible odors, I was thrilled to come across one with no odor! It provides both padding and the nonslip grip. It can be trimmed to fit if needed, which is handy. I’ve purchased several and will always come back to this one.

It’s nice pad since it keeps rug in place but it gets pack down by rug. I ordered 1/4 “ pad and I wish I ordered 3/8” pad. But it is still better than sitting on area rug. Recommend it. No order and price is good. I still didn’t see any damage on my LVP floor sine I only had a week.

This BAGAIL rug pad is absolutely excellent! The combination of felt and natural rubber backing is perfect - the rug stays completely in place on hardwood floors without any slipping. The 1/4 inch thickness adds a nice cushioning feel underfoot. It's odorless and safe for all floor types. We've had no issues with it bunching or moving at all. The 5x7 size fits our area rug perfectly. Great quality for the price!

The rug slips off the pad easily. Pad makes a nice cushion.

I love the thickness of this rug pad. It also cuts easy that I could trim a little bit off to adjust the size. It does not slip and has made a little bit of a difference in the creaking noise of my floors.

I worked in fall prevention for many years. Prevention of falls is very important, and slippery rugs are a major culprit. Knowing this, I reviewed this item very carefully prior to purchase. We purchased several for various rugs throughout the house. The rug pads are very sturdy; rugs adhere to floors without slipping. The pads allow for easy trimming to match the exact rug size. Highly recommend for anyone concerned with preventing falls from slippery rugs.

So glad we bought this for our living room - it made our thing rug much more plush and comfortable. I cut it to size easily. Worth the cost!

Good rubber backing, stays in place. Also very easy to cut to size.

Not as soft as another rug pad I have, so glad I ordered the 1/4 in. as opposed to the 1/8 in. Non-slip is good.

Feels great under or rug and it fit without trimming

This pad is only 1/8 inch thick. While it kept the area rug relatively flat the coffee table I had on it is heavy and it buckled slightly where the legs were positioned. The half-inch pad I purchased after this one worked better, has less give and provided more comfort.
