Don't get Confused just buy it, you won't regret. Sound quality is top notch, great clarity for a bluetooth speaker. It supports HIRes bluetooth codec like LDAC not many speakers have these although you need to be a android user. For better experience and comparison i suggest to visit store to experience the by yourself. For portability, it is heavy like 3.3kg but solder strap is given and with solder strap the portability is not an issue. Battery life of this speaker is also good and you can use external power source like ac adaptor also with type c and get extra boost on bass and volume. Party light is also very cool. Overall is a great speaker total value for money in this price, (better sound than JBL xtreme 4). Build quality of this very top notch, have ip67 rating. In the functionality, the Sony's party connect is there if you have Sony's other speakers which have this feature. Can connect two same speakers as in stereo although the speaker it self is stereo. In the back io panel there is also a aux in port for audio and the speaker can be a powerbank to charge your phone. All these things which make this speaker great in functionality.

Best for home and work outside and the sound quality is just awesome and audible ... connection is fast and doesnt make unnecessary sound when it's on and gets connected.. not like some kind of Chinese speaker... build quality is just cool. Water gets wipe

Excellent sound quality, but Party Connect does not work with Laptop or TV at all I purchased two Sony ULT Field 5 speakers and one Sony ULT Field 3 speaker. The sound quality on all speakers is excellent. The bass is very powerful with ULT mode enabled, and the audio is clear, loud, and premium. Build quality is solid, and the lighting effects on the ULT Field 5 look very good. Battery backup is also impressive. However, there is a major issue with Party Connect mode. When I connect the speakers to a mobile phone or tablet using the Sony app, Party Connect works perfectly, and all speakers play audio together. But when I connect the speakers to a laptop or TV via Bluetooth and enable Party Connect, no speakers play audio at all. The audio completely stops, and none of the connected speakers produce sound. This makes Party Connect unusable with laptops and TVs. This is very disappointing, especially after investing in multiple Sony speakers expecting them to work together across different devices. Sony should clearly mention this limitation or provide a firmware update to fix Party Connect compatibility with laptops and TVs. Overall, the speakers are excellent in sound and build quality, but Party Connect functionality is limited to mobile devices only.
