Great product, keeps meds cold!
Perfect for travel - used when I had to fly and keep meds cold! Ice packs are small but long lasting

A travel lifesaver!
This case was a total lifesaver for my recent travel! I was able to keep my insulin and other refrigerated medications at the right temperature for the entire nine-hour flight without any stress. I really love the digital temperature display—it gave me such peace of mind to see exactly what was happening inside. It’s the perfect size to carry in my backpack and the included ice packs worked perfectly. Highly recommend this to anyone needing a reliable way to travel with temperature-sensitive medication!

Great for all types of vial type medications
Love this! I know most people use this for their insulin. However, I use this when needing to travel with my cat's immunotherapy injections (need to stay refrigerated). It holds the vial perfectly, and the pocket is great for the syringes needed. Love that I can see and keep track of the temperature inside. It is very accurate. My bf used the temperature checker on his phone on this case to check if it matched, and it was within 0.1degrees of this device. It cools pretty quick from room temperature to when the ice packs are put in. Have been recommending to a lot of people that have refrigerated vial type medications. Would buy again if needed.

Stays cold for 24 hours at a time on road trip
I took this on a 2 week road trip, and it stayed cool about 24 hours each time before the icepacks needed refrozen. It does help to put it in another small cooler with some additional ice packs, then it stayed cold enough for 2 to 3 days. To be fair, this was in Florida, but in an air-conditioned vehicle. Still...sun! It was very hot in the Keys in August, so yes, I give this all the stars!

Overall, good for travel up to 6 hours
Pros: Handy size for travel. Will hold up to 2 injectable pens. Keeps medications cool for several hours of travel before needing refrigeration. Has thermometer on the case to indicate temperature inside the case. The thermometer is also handy to check the inside temperature of a refrigerator (to see if it’s keeping your foods at a safe temperature). Cons: Zipper on case (2 way) can stick easily so it’s not always easy to zip open or closed. Freezer packs only keep medication pens cool (at a temp of 45 or lower) for up to a maximum 5-6 hours (and that was within a suitcase kept out of the sun in a car, with A/C running). Then the cooling packs defrosted and the temperature inside the case rose. One would need a different product design for longer travel periods. Overall this is a good product and works well as long as one isn’t needing to keep meds cool for longer than 6 hours.

Don’t leave them behind! They are so handy.
The black one is very handy for the beach. The lavender one is good for the inside, not close to water/love the color. They are not heavy and has a strap to carry. It will hold some other things also. The fit is good.

Will not work for Embrel if you plan to put it back in the fridge
Will not work for Embrel if you plan to put it back in the fridge. While this product as advertised for insulin it does say in description that it keeps your meds safely cooled for 6 to 8 hours. This product holds a steady coolness, is true to color, and size. It’s sturdy and looks nice. Zipper likes to get stuck though. Embrel and many other meds need to be stored between 36 and 46 degrees F in order to be refrigerated again. Once they go above this, they have to be used within a set amount of time. Embrel can be used in 2 weeks at room temperature. While this may work for most people who just need to keep it protected from heat for short periods of time and plan to use it within an allotted time. For me, it doesn’t work. I need to keep this at refrigerator temperature for a flight to a vacation that will be 17 days long. I started at 32 degrees and after 5 minutes the cooler was already above 46 degrees, after 25 minutes it was at 56.8 degrees and holding steady at that temperature. At this rate, after 1 to 3 hours the Embrel will reach mid 40s if the cooler remains at 56.8, which it won’t because the packs start to melt. I cant back up the product statement of “keeps it at a safe temperature for 6 to 8 hours” because it will be out of the safe zone long before that. I even put the product in the freezer to help lower the internal temp so the ice packs could maintain instead of reduce. No such luck with that method even with using both ice packs. Overall this is designed for a short trip of just a couple hours not 6 or 8.
