Review: These are truly good shoes - After spending lots of money of custom orthotics and supportive shoes, a physical therapist suggested I should actually go the other direction and try barefoot shoes. She said many times foot and knee pain is the result of muscle deterioration and orthotic (super supportive) shoes can increase the issue because they provide so much support the muscles don't get as strong as they should. I looked up barefoot shoes and was taken aback by how expensive many of them were. I wasn't sure I'd actually like them, and didn't want to spend $$$$ if I hated the shoe. I saw a review that recommended WHITIN as a super affordable choice so gave them a try. I'll admit, I was skeptical. However, as soon as I put the shoe on for the first time, I was won over. They are very comfortable, the heel doesn't slip, the sole is flexible, etc. The shoe also breathes well so my foot doesn't get too hot. I now have an indoor pair that works better than typical slippers, and several pair to wear for everyday. I've been wearing WHITIN shoes almost exclusively for about 3 months now, and my feet are so much happier. I still have some knee pain, but it is a bit better. Despite the think sole, it is pretty grippy. Not sure how it does on wet surfaces, but it does well on smooth rock surfaces, gravel, pavement, slippery floors, etc. A few things to know about the shoe. The sole is thin. You will feel rocks and other surfaces under your feet. After all, these are barefoot shoe style. This means I can't wear them everywhere. If I were a runner, I probably would need more support for long runs or risk foot injury -- but I'm not a runner : ) My biggest complaint is the sole is pretty noisy on tile floors. For normal walking, it makes a soft clop-clop sound like a horse on pavement. Every so often the sole will hit just right and make a huge squeaking noise. Not a HUGE deal, but it took a while to get used to. With a think sole, I don't know how long the shoes will last. However, I've worn mine a lot while walking on pavement, and the sole is still fine. These shoes are definitely worth trying. With good sales, I ended up buying 4 pairs. I'm thinking I might get a few more in case they stop making them. At this point, I'm not motivated to invest in the "fancy" barefoot shoes. I don't think I could like them more than I like these ones. Review: Pretty great shoe - Love the look of this shoe, and feels pretty good and lightweight.

Comfortable minimalist shoes with wide toe box
These shoes are lightweight and comfortable with a nice wide toe box. They’re flexible and work well for casual walking or daily wear. Pros: wide fit, lightweight, flexible sole Cons: minimal cushioning—takes adjustment if you’re new to barefoot shoes Bottom line: Solid option for anyone transitioning to minimalist footwear.

Great bare foot shoes
Wow, these barefoot shoes are a revelation! They arrived ready to make my feet rejoice. Comfort? Check. Feel? Double check. I’ve been strutting around in them, both socked and sockless, and let me tell you, they’ve been a dream on my lengthy strolls. I'm especially fond of the toe box—it's as wide as my ambitions! After enduring some toe-cramming footwear that made my toes look like sardines, finding these Whitin barefoot shoes feels like a Cinderella moment. They scream quality, look fabulous, provide stellar arch support, and seem built to withstand the test of time—all at a price that won’t make your wallet cry. They fit like a charm; I normally sport a size 11, snagged an 11, and it’s a match made in footwear heaven! If you want a shoe that’s just plain awesome and budget-friendly, you can't miss here!

Favorite Shoes
Super comfortable, wide toe box, zero drop shoes. My last pair wore out after walking an average of 22k steps per day on a 5 day Disney trip. Everyone else complained that their feet were hurting at the end of the day, but mine were totally fine. Love these shoes

These are good shoes but they aren't barefoot shoes.
They've got the wide foot of a barefoot shoe like the xero shoe, but the rubber on the bottom is too thick and rigid to be a real barefoot shoe. They are comfortable, they don't smell, and they look normal. Their grip is very good, and they are close to a typical barefoot style, but they are missing the key component of a barefoot shoe.

Great value entry level barefoot experience
Great great shoes for the price! Wore mine down for around 10 months with consistent 10-20k steps a day, comfy and very flexible for true barefoot experience. All surfaces work well grip on the sole was good, flat bottom truly moves with your foot, would recommend

Son zapatos cómodos y empleos, aunque cuesta un poco acostumbrarte y si los usas mucho tiempo si puede llegar a cansar, pero una vez acostumbrado están de 100.

A minimalist barefoot shoe that looks good and feels great A large toe box that lets your toes splay plus zero drop to prevents excessive stress on the forefoot

I wear fat skate shoes my entire life and hate my toes getting squeezed. But these are a nice shoe for summer or beach since they breath and really are wide enough for the feet. Measurement's are accurate too. I just wish the seam at the toe would go up slightly more since it seems to land right on the toe nail.
