I recently purchased the Oregon 90PX056E AdvanceCut Chainsaw Chain for my 16-inch bar, and I am extremely impressed with its performance. As someone who uses a chainsaw regularly for yard work and light tree cutting, I was looking for a reliable and efficient replacement chain—and this one definitely delivers! The fit is perfect for my saw, which is compatible with Makita, Dolmar, Sterwins, and other models. Installing the chain was quick and easy, and once it was in place, I immediately noticed the difference in cutting performance. The chain cuts through wood effortlessly, making my tasks much faster and more efficient. What really stands out to me is the quality and durability of the chain. The sharpness of the teeth holds up well even after multiple uses, and I haven’t noticed any significant dulling or issues with the cutting speed. It cuts smoothly and consistently, which makes my work more precise and less tiring. The Oregon 90PX056E is also well-balanced, which reduces vibration and makes handling the chainsaw more comfortable. I’ve used chainsaws with rougher chains before, but this one provides a much smoother experience. Another plus is the great value for the price. These are quite well made although rather lighter than I'd expected, my GFs father recently gave us the saw but it had no blades so I wasn't sure what to expect. As we have a manual for the saw fitting was quite straightforward albeit a bit fiddly at points. Everything appears to be good & solid, there's very little bend to the chain when held horizontally with the link pins upward which means there's no unnecessary space in the assembly points around the pins and between the plates. They are certainly sharp enough, I nicked my fingers a couple of times fitting one and it made very short work of the long dead hawthorn we were clearing outside my building and went through the remains of a cedar paling fence like it was butter. So far we've cleared about eight yards of dead bushes and brambles from the remains of a hedge and the thick undergrowth around it as well as the remains of about ten yards of cedar paling fencing and some 4" x 4" fence posts & the first blade still seems to be going strong so I'm guessing that given the amount I expect to use the saw in future once this clearing project is done they are likely to last me a few years. All in all I have to say I'm very pleased with them, the only little niggle is that beyond some quite basic illustrations on the bags there's no real information for care & maintenance of them on or in the packaging. Aside from that little thing I can't see anything to fault them on. They are easy to fit, very sharp and efficient and at an equivalent of just £11.41 each they seem to me to be quite well priced.

I seem to go through these at some rate as the get thrown off and chewed up by the saw. Think the chains are fine, Think its the saw design and/or the thin bar. Have had a petrol husqy for over ten years and only replaced the chain once. Meticulous cleaning every battery change and cutting clean wood only (no ivy/brambles) seems to help.
