Setup was incredibly simple — plug and play with no hassle — and it connects seamlessly to my laptop and other devices. What really stands out is the value for money. I recently purchased the ARZOPA Z1RC portable monitor, primarily for work purposes, such as reading documents. The monitor performs great on all brightness levels, if it is late night or bright sunlight doesn't matter - you'll be able to use the screen (I haven't used it in direct sunlight/outside yet, so I can't speak about that). The resolution and contrast perform also as expected, making it a great addition to portable my work setup. Connecting it to my laptop (MacBook M3) worked out of the box, just connecting the USB C cable was all it needed - although I later adjusted the resolution to fit my needs. I'm also positively surprised by it's energy consumption - it barely impacts my laptops runtime, while running on brightness 20-50 (which for me is the sweet spot, because it is neither too bright, nor too dark). My only issue would be it's durability, although it does not feel cheap or flimsy, I don't feel comfortable just stuffing it into my bag, because I'd be scared to scratch or damage the screen. Therefore I would recommend using an sleeve for transportation to protect the screen.

This is the perfect extra monitor for my situation. I work from home a couple of times per month so buying a big bulky monitor didnt seem worthwhile. This monitor is super thin and light and so easy to store away when not in use. It's powered by the usb c connection and is really simple to set up, just plug it in and you're off. There are 3 cables included (usbc-usbc, hdmi-mini hdmi, usba-usbc) though I have only used the USB C-USB C option. The stand is like a photo frame stand and snaps flush against the back of the monitor when not in use. It also has a degree of angle variation depending on how far out you have the stand. The image quality is good. I work with images on a daily basis so this was an important feature. Overall very impressed .

Much lighter than I expected, and comes with all the cables you need and is really easy to set up. The little stand at the back adjusts to a wide range of angles so it's easy to angle it the way I want. Only slight snag is that the screen turns off and on by itself occasionally - I'm not sure if that's to do with the connection to my PC or the device itself.

I'm very happy with the Z1RC portable monitor. I use it as an additional external monitor for my laptop (and other computers) and owing to the monitor supporting both USB-C and HDMI inputs I've been able to connect to all the devices I need. USB-C connections are better as you only require one cable but if you need to use HDMI it just requires a USB-C connection for power. All the cables needed are supplied. The maximum resolution of 2560x1600 is great, you may want to adjust the scaling to suit your needs. I haven't used the speakers so can't comment on the quality of the output but audio output is really important to you you'd probably use external speakers or headphones anyway. It's very light so easy to carry around, currently I transport it in the box it came in, it's sturdy and not cumbersome. It doesn't require an external mains power supply . Looks great and and functionally complete

The monitor does not work via just 1 USB-C cable with Thunderbolt 5 ports (so, any M4 Mac). Arzopa must update the firmware for this to work due to a protocol issue. Their recommendation is just use HDMI, but that defeats the purpose of a portable monitor. It works over 1 USB-C cable with Thunderbolt 4.

Satisfaisant avec un mac book pro M1 16 pouces. Utilisez l'application BetterDisplay (gratuite) pour obtenir une résolution identique à l'écran du mac book, pour un confort de travail optimisé. La résolution 16:10 du mac book n'étant pas répliquable par défaut sans déformation sur l'écran, ou sans être trop petit. Une fois ceci fait, c'est juste parfait, en usb-c comme en HDMI. Fonctionne alimenté par le mac en usb-c. Fonctionne très bien avec Samsung Dex (mobile) également. Fonctionne avec PS5 aussi. Le son intégré est très moyen, mais ce n'est pas ce qu'on attend particulièrement, ça dépanne. Super luminosité, super définition.

Good screen companion for steam deck to transform it into light travel PC. My use case: when going away for a couple of days and don't want to bring the notebook PC, I take the steam deck, this monitor, a small Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse. Works like a charm, with power adapter plugged into monitor, and usb-c cable from steam deck to the monitor, one power adapter for both.

Ottimo prodotto ad un prezzo corretto. Abbinato al mio Mac Mini devo dire ha anche una bella resa dei colori. La risoluzione 2K per il 16 pollici fa la differenza anche se le scritte sono davvero piccole ma comunque nitide. Potendo lo avrei preso anche con qualche pollice in più, Magari Arzopa mi manda un 18 pollici da provare? magari!!! Un ottimo prodotto che fa della portabilità un bel plus.

Update (6 months later): After about six months of use, I encountered another issue. When unfolding the monitor stand, the frame started separating slightly from the screen. I contacted the company and they asked for photos and videos of the problem. After reviewing the materials, they agreed to send a replacement. I shipped the monitor back, and once they received it, they sent me a new unit. They were very polite and helpful. The new monitor seems to be free of dead pixels at first glance. While I previously gave a low rating due to my initial experience, I believe their responsive and helpful customer service deserves recognition. For that reason, I’m updating my review and rating to reflect the positive after sales support. Original review: I had high expectations for this monitor, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment. It arrived with a few dead pixels, which was the most frustrating issue for me. I purchased it to use with my M4 Mac Mini, and I spent a considerable amount of time adjusting the monitor’s settings to correct the colors. However, I still don’t believe it delivers accurate colors. When connecting a PlayStation, the 16:10 aspect ratio results in a stretched image from the top and bottom, which affects the overall viewing experience. The built-in speakers are practically useless. It’s better not to use them at all. I connected my PlayStation multiple times using the USB-A port on the front of the console. However, since the monitor likely doesn’t receive enough power through USB-A to support both the display and the speakers, it frequently turned off and back on. On a positive note, when using it with a Mac, it is convenient that both power and display signal can be transmitted through a single USB-C cable, eliminating the need for an additional power adapter. Setting aside the dead pixels and color accuracy issues, the screen itself is sharp and clear.
