This was not 'bad' or poor quality, and I appreciate that the flavor mixed/dissolved in the alcohol instantly instead of separating like some oils do, but it is not as concentrated as I thought it would be and needed to use a lot more than I anticipated; 40 drops for a single whiskey sour to get a noticeable flavor. I did not particularly enjoy this flacor of smoke either, which could just be a personal preference of the type of wood used for flavoring. It might pair well with different alcohol or drink types/flavors, but certainly doesn't align with the 'standard/traditional' hickory smoke flavor that I expected.
