I bought this item as I saw this in a cookery programme. I've used it a few times and was really pleased with it. It does what it says in the tin. It took a few seconds to get it going but when it did, it had great results.

I use this every day for something I am cooking. Especially good for soup making where thin slices bring out more taste.Love it!

I am a private chef, and i enjoy cooking raw and using this machine to produce exciting dishes. Absolutely brilliant and easyto maintain.

I bought this on a whim, and haven't had much call to use it since, but i feel sure once I get the opportunity, I will become an addict! It seems well made and easy to use - easy to follow instructions!

In principle , I like this product. The angel hair blade does a good job and all the blades are effective. Makes raw beet root look wonderful. However, the turning handle is a little clumsy and at the bottom of the turning point, I found myself hitting my knuckles. Imagine it would be worse for a man as they have slightly larger hands. The turning handle is also not as secure or as easy as it should be. Resting your other hand on the machine to help stabilise it after a few minutes really hurts with the square edges and should have had a soft use pad to relieve this discomfort There iis also quite a bit of waste with the vegetables in the centre, but those bit can be used other ways.

Having done a lot of research to find the product I needed, and having taken on board what many reviewers said, I paid £70 for this, including postage from Japan, and I am totally disappointed with it. A previous reviewer wrote that it can be used with a power drill and that that showed how strong it is. This is nonsense - there was no suggestion either on the box or in the contents of the box I received that you could do this - not that I wanted to, but that reviewer's words made me think that it must be a really well-made piece of equipment. It looks onscreen as though it is made of metal, but it is in fact, apart from the metal turning handle and the blades, mostly made of a softer, plastic-like material. It does not handle tougher vegetables, like celeriac at all, and the prongs of the dark green plastic part that holds the vegetable to be processed buckles if the vegetable is tough. I decided not to bother trying to return this to Japan - too much hassle and additional cost - but I have returned to using my old-fashioned mandolin - with much greater appreciation of it - and when I can stomach being ripped off by this thing, I will donate it to a charity shop. Don't waste your money...Oh, by the way, the seller in Japan must be aware that customers will be disappointed, as a sweetener, in the form of a tiny bar of white KitKat was included with the item - that about says it all...

Does exactly what it's supposed to - what more can I say ? Easy to use, easy to clean, just enjoy the food.

This is so much better than he cheaper versions you can get and not so expensive that it breaks the bank.

Levaba tiempo detras de el. Hace unos cortes muy buenos y consigues tiras superfinas. Con zanahoris pequeñas cuesta bastante, pero si el producto a rallar es grueso, va genial. Como venia de Japon estaba asustado por el tiempo que tardaria y por la aduana. Todo fue muy bien

Vraiment super ce coupe-légumes, il fait de très belles tagliatelles de légumes toutes fines. Ca permet de varier la façon de faire les crudités ou de mélanger certains légumes à des pâtes ou du riz. Pour certains légumes comme le chou-rave c'est un peu dur, mais pour les carottes, les navets, les pommes de terre, les courgettes ... c'est génial !!! Mes enfants adorent ça !! En plus je l'ai reçu très vite, 2 semaines avant la date prévu !!! J'étais trop contente.

I have two other "spiralizers" that I paid top dollar for. They are nothing compared to this brand of slicer!!!! As usual, things made in Japan are of exceptional quality. The other two plastic pieces of junk are going into the trash!!! This unit is simply designed and easy to use, easy to clean, doesn't slip on the counter like the others. It has two little "feet" that sit over the edge of the sink or counter, which keeps the slicer from sliding. The blades are wonderfully made, sharp and perfect. To bad I spent over $100. on the other two slicers. I will never buy anything but this brand again. I use the slicer at least once a day, so clean up must be easy, fast and able to get completely clean. There are no little cracks or pockets for food an water to get stuck in with this brand. This slicer makes all the others look like pieces of junk!!
