BiMi Deluxe Office chair refurbishment kit

Arrived earlier than expected. Easy to assemble. Its a bit higher than the one I replaced but luckily I have a foot rest. Very sturdy unit. Pleased with this as my chair is very comfortable just the plastic foot broke. Definitely recommend.

A plastic spoke on my decent old chair had broken - and all repair attempts failed (melting & araldite). Had assumed whole chair was destined for the skip and was scanning for a cheap and nasty replacement and saw this pop up - I'd no idea chair parts were 'standard'. Was originally just going to buy the base, but after a bit of malleting, realized the old gas cylinder wasn't going to budge, and this was only a bit more. Anyway, couple of days for delivery, few minutes with an allen key, and my beloved chair is better than it ever was before. I can only describe my feeling as 'pretty chuffed'. Description was somewhat lacking in details, so if it matters to you: Cylinder is 9", giving total length with piston of between 11 and 15.5" (if you want to compare it to what you have). Another concern I had was that the distance between a couple of the screws on my chair was nearly 16cm, whilst the standard seems to be 15cm. Was absolutely fine as the holes in the base-plate are large enough to accommodate a fair amount of variance. #Edit a few months later - this is one of most satisfying purchases I've ever made. Chair I loved has received a new lease of life - and a new life made of 'metal' unlike the somewhat plasticky initial life it had. I have no doubt now, that my chair will live forever :)

The wheels and gas strut failed on my 15 year old chair so I decided to buy this refurb kit because my chair is comfy and good for my back. In my kit I realised after assembly that the mechanism plate had a manufacturing fault which made it tilt awkwardly. I was sent a replacement plate next day but it was quite a bit of hassle to remove the faulty plate because it was stuck to the gas strut (an angle grinder was involved!). Despite the hassle (these things happen) I'm very happy with the kit and service from the seller. I would give it five stars but I don't like the wheels because they don't glide very well over thick carpet.

I don't normally write reviews but in this instance felt compelled to do so. My son has a gaming chair which he loves and both the piston and the bracket had failed. The old piston was stuck in the wheel assembly so purchased the complete kit . Product arrived on time not overly packaged. Very easy to put together especially the castors. I have found on a number of occasions that fitting castors has been an issue needing to resort to brute force. Not this time. The whole package feels sturdy and my son was delighted the chair has been saved. Make sure when ordering you measure the hole fittings as there are a few different brackets available. Five star.

No assembly instructions. Which for me was fine it's not my first rodeo however for others, and they know who they are, not so good.

My chair mechanism gas strut had broken, but the leather chair was fine not worn. Found this refurbishment. It arrived next day, amazing. Easy to put together and the fittings were exactly the same so able just to put together and replace. 10 mins tops. Brilliant and a huge saving. Good high quality mechanism that seems the same as the original which I bought from Staples a few years ago.

I was pretty happy - unfortunately my chair had holes that were slightly out of the size it allowed, but a few mins with a drill and metal drill bit and we were fine, I think i just had a weird chair though. It went together easily and solved my chair issues - certainly better than spending £200 on a new similar chair to the one that was broken.

Prompt delivery, less than 48 hours. Adequate packaging, everything enclosed as was described. The produce looks nice, sturdy and robust and was very easy to put together and attach to my old faithful comfy chair. I now have a good as new office chair at a fraction of the price of a new one. Only time will tell how good the gas lift cylinder is it is too early to comment on that at the moment. Overall, and so far, I am very pleased with this product. I would buy it again and highly recommend it if you don't need a complete brand new chair.

Das Untergestell kam per Premium-Langstrecke aus England in wenigen Tagen. Der Zusammenbau erfolgt ohne Werkzeug - bis auf die Verschraubung am Sessel-Unterteil. Die Abstände der Befestigungsbohrungen sind wohl mittlerweile standardisiert und passten optimal - man sollte aber vor der Bestellung natürlich nachmessen und sicherstellen, dass die Abstände der Befestigungsbohrungen/Gewinde des Sessels auch diesen entsprechen! Das Teil macht einen recht stabilen Eindruck und die Gasdruckfeder hat eine Höhenverstellbarkeit bei meiner Kombination von 50 - 63 cm vom Boden zur Sitzfläche gemessen. Bleibt nun nur noch abzuwarten, wie die Langzeit-Haltbarkeit und Stabilität ist. Update: Die Gasdruckfeder knackt bei jeder Wippbewegung und hält den Druck bzw. die Position nicht - also absoluter Schrott und nicht empfehlenswert!!! Update2: Reklamation bei Amazon - Neubestellung des Sets (aus logistischen Gründen konnte nur das komplette Set neu bestellt werden, dass in weniger als 24 Stunden per UPS aus GB geliefert wurde!!!) Gasdruckfeder ausgetauscht und Rücksendung des nun überzähligen Sets mit defekter Gasdruckfeder über Amazon bei UPS beauftragt. Rücksendung wurde innerhalb von 24 Std. kostenfrei abgeholt - eine Top Leistung sowohl von Amazon als auch von UPS! Nun verdienterweise die Bewertung wieder korrigiert auf 5 Sterne!

Avevo rotto il supporto della mia sedia da gaming (dopo ben 4 anni) e ho comprato questo prodotto. Inizialmente mi è stata mandata una piastra diversa da quella in descrizione e non andava bene con la mia sedia, ho contattato il venditore che mi ha inviato prontamente quella giusta facendo uno scambio di scatole con il corriere, grande assistenza. La piastra si è adattata perfettamente dopo una piccola limata ai fori della piastra stessa che erano leggerissimamente più piccoli rispetto ai fori della mia sedia... Ma di un paio di millimetri, nulla di che. Ora è tutto montato anche se ho preferito rimettere le mie rotelle e mi sembra davvero un buon prodotto solido. Vedremo nel tempo ma per ora sono soddisfatto.

A vérifier dans les semaines ou mois qui viennent mais ce kit inspire la confiance au niveau solidité. Les branches sont soudées au pied, tout en métal. Seules les roulettes sont en plastiques, classique. Attention toutefois à ne pas jeter prématurément les vis et rondelles ainsi que le cache tube de votre ancien pied de chaise car ils ne sont pas fournis et vous en aurez besoin pour fixer ce kit rénovation. Le carton contient, parfaitement protégés, le pied, le tube et les roulettes. En provenance d'Angleterre, le colis est arrivé deux jours plus tard, donc parfait.

Tiene una unión a las ruedas que parece más fuerte que otros modelos, sin piezas móviles y con soldaduras de mejor apariencia. Fácil de montar.

recuperato la sedia ufficio, Grazie a Galizia che prima di spedire mi ha contattato (sms mail e chiamata) per assicurarsi che le misure fossero compatibili con il loro pezzo, arrivato in poche ore con video di montaggio. che dire finalmente qualcuno che sa fare il suo mestiere con giudizio e non si accontenta di vendere e stop. Il prodotto mi sembra solido e ben fatto (quello originale della sedia in plastica ha ceduto miseramente) mi riservo di segnalare eventuali anomalie nel tempo ma non credo ci saranno. grazie Idealsedie di Galizia Michele
