Got this to replace a broken, rather flimsy lock. This is far sturdier and you can adjust the lock catch itself which is genius idea! Fitted in minutes, very happy. Same price but this is sooo much stronger!

Used this to replace a Dorcas lock which failed, the connections seem better quality than the lock it replaced.

This electric door lock comes in a plain cardboard box and inside you’ll find the door lock, faceplate, and a cover plate with screws.The lock feels extremely strong and well built and its frame is a thick, strong metal. There are no instructions inside the box so if you are unfamiliar with how this works, you’ll need to look online to see how to install it.Installation was quite easy for me as I have a system installed which already allows access with a key fob. I had to wire the power up to the lock by removing the four screws which allowed the main unit to slide out from the metal frame. I then connected power to it, slid it back in place, and screwed it in so it was secure. I like how the frame has a little notch cut into it which allows the cable to come out without pinching it.I added the lock into my system, and it unlocked successfully. It unlocked immediately, with no hesitation, which is perfect for any electronic door lock system. You do hear an audible click, which isn’t too loud, which is a nice audio cue that it has unlocked. When I turned off the power, the lock remained locked so don’t use it on an emergency exit.A reasonably priced electric door lock which is perfect for a security system that uses electronic locks. I’m not too sure how I would use it if I didn’t have a security system in place and the lack of instructions doesn’t help this fact. As it stands for me, I can’t fault this at all, and it works exactly as it should…

The item is working well and does what it says. It lacks any form of instructions and thats the only reason i didnt give it five stars. Besides that fact, the product seems good and is working well. I would buy it again.
