Do you really "love" your litter???
Sound like an idiot saying "I love my cat litter".... Oh well. Run a cat sanctuary. Used shredded paper for decades. With our Alaska Dispatch News having run itself into the ground, they've stopped delivering to the more remote areas. So, with the few folks who live up here, loosing their paper delivery also, I needed to make a change in litter type. I really like this Purina Light Weight litter. And unless the price gets insane, it's what I'll keep buying. Been about two months since I introduced the 1st pans of Tidy Cats. Now, even though there's still shredded paper available, almost all the cats use the Tidy Cats. Trips to the landfill make the "lightweight" VERY welcome. Not to mention the clumping. It's fantastic. Pans are "scooped" several times a day and I have yet to dump a whole pan because of odor caused by a few pieces of clay that might fall through the scoop. Virtually no little crumbs of wet litter, fall off to contaminate the clean litter. If a bit does comes loose, it stays clumped, making it easy to remove and leaving the rest of the litter, clean. Does not turn into cement that sticks to the side/bottom of the pan. Even large areas of wet litter (multiple hits) are usually removed in one big clump. Two or three pans are favored and see a lot of activity. This can handle multiple cats, stomping all over the used areas, without the clumps breaking apart.... This is good stuff. "Tracking" is not an issue. Use of a deep litter pan will help keep the lightweight litter in the pan if you have a frisky digger. Even though some of the cats have long hair, the litter tracking seems to be minimal and doesn't present the slightest problem. Nothing a "stick vac" or dust pan, kept near the "area", won't handle. The "scented" one is very pleasant and the cats have no issue with the aroma. People don't either. I'd recommend without hesitation. Even though I don't love inanimate objects... this comes close. UPDATE.....As expected, the price has gone through the roof.... Another case of... whatever the market will bear .... Even here in Alaska, with the stores adding their shipping, it's NOW cheaper to buy it in state, instead of on AMAZON.

Best litter ever.
I have been buying litter for fifty years. I am very diligent to have a cat odorless house. I have had multiple cats off and on and paid a small fortune. This litter is the best I have ever used for odor, clumping and good results at any price. However, the price is the best. I couldn’t believe it. Trust me, I’m a cat litter expert with a nose like a hound and would pay whatever it takes because it is that important to me. This happens to be reasonable in price which meant a lot to me. I don’t have to sacrifice food for good litter. To me this was a real find. You’ll like it too if either price or good litter are important to you. It hits both high notes exceptionally well. I want to add one thing. Good litter does not mean you don’t have to clean it on a regular basis. I clean mine every morning. It’s a habit. Good litter just maintains odors for a while, not forever.

Super lightweight, clean scooping, and fresh scent!
I decided to try this lightweight litter because I've been suffering from arthritis and/or carpal tunnel pain in my wrists which makes scooping heavy, sticky, clumpy clay litter pretty difficult. I must say that I have been extremely impressed by this litter, and honestly never thought I'd be excited about a cat litter ever in my entire life, but here we are, folks! This litter is the BEST if you struggle with regular litters like I do. It is so lightweight compared to regular litter, it clumps well and scoops cleanly and doesn't stick to the sides and bottom of the litter box like regular litter does either. It has made scooping litter for three kitties bearable, painfree, and much quicker than before. The odor control is pretty good, too, I haven't had any issues with it stinking up the house at all. If I smell it when I go into the laundry room (close to the litter box and not even very strong smell), I know it's time to scoop, so it's a good reminder. So overall, I love this litter and I'm so glad I decided to try it! I may never go back. It's definitely worth the extra bit of cost, and I have a feeling this one container will last me at least as long (about a month with three kitties) as my old 40 pounder bag I was buying for years. I'll update if I discover anything that changes my rating, but so far, I'm very pleased with this product!

A small-yet noticable plus
Pros: Lightweight for carrying, if you cant carry this litter you won't have any luck with other brands. For those who are skeptical on difference between this lightweight litter and the regular dust crap you buy at any grocery store, I suggest buy one pail of this lightweight version and set next to your usual mistake purchased litter and test the weight for yourself. I showed this lightweight litter to a few fossils at the nursing home and it was no trouble to them lifting and carrying vs common concrete-like weight litter. The SCENT! I recommend highly for everyone to take the time to smell the pleasant aroma. In that moment you forget the screaming kids and frustration from maintaining the pet you impulsively bought them, lasting until your kids inform you their sibling has eaten all of the Play-Doh again. Dont forget to sneak another few whiffs in on the way to the ER and pre/post 3am snack. Fine print that isnt on the pail should say "scent does not last and does not mean you dont need to empty litter pan periodically you fool"

Definitely lighter
Update: a few more observations. This litter is mostly gray, but has blue bits in it. It slightly stained the bottom of my cat's rear paws. Had my vet going there. If you don't dump out your entire litterbox frequently, there will be a lot of litter dust. This is by far the biggest disadvantage for me. ----- This weighs about half as much as regular clumping clay litter (for the same volume). It clumps well enough. Since it's lighter, more of it gets tracked around my apartment. Purina says 17 lb is equal to 35 lb of regular litter, but 17 lb is probably closer to 31 lb of usable litter because more of it is lost. The pail is hard to open. The pull tab is stiff, and I needed a cloth to avoid cutting my fingers while pulling the tab open. Once open, the pail is much easier to use than a regular box of litter. The handle is round and fairly thick--it won't cut into my fingers the way the plastic strip handles on some boxes of litter do. As for being dust-free, that depends on your definition of dust. The dust in this litter is not fine enough to float in the air. It still gets tracked all over the floor. If you don't dump out your entire litter box frequently, the litter eventually gets ground into airborne dust. It comes in other size jugs and pails, which is nice. If I accidentally run out of litter, I can grab a smaller jug from a nearby supermarket instead of waiting two days for delivery, and it won't be that heavy. Good odor control. I only notice any odor for 1-2 minutes after a cat uses the litter box, and only if I'm in the same room. The rest of the time, I don't smell anything.

Great Cat Litter, But it Tracks a lot and Leaves Dust
I'm still amazed at how light this cat litter is. Cleaning the box is easy because the litter is so small that sifting is made much easier. In comparison to other litters I've used, the clumping is really strong. I rarely have times where it breaks, though if it does there isn't as much residue leftover in comparison to other litters. I recently tried a natural cat litter and noticed that when the clumping fails/breaks then there is often a darker cat litter left in the box and it is impossible to clean out unless you clean out all the litter. This litter doesn't do that, though I have noticed that it does track around the house a lot. Since the litter is so small it's easily for it to get picked up by your cat's paws and tracked all over. A mat in front of the litter box helps, but does not fully prevent this. Another thing I noticed is that this cat litter is sometimes hard to clean up if you have thicker carpeting. There is a lot of dust that comes with this litter, not as much as the original Tidy Cats version but still dust clouds up every time I clean it or put in more litter.

After trying Tidy Cat "Clumping" Cat Litter, I've never used another brand!!
After my initial switch to Tidy Cat "Clumping" Cat Litter, I know I will never use any another Cat Litter brand because Tidy Cat Litter is the Best Cat Litter I have ever used!! I have two Cats, one Big, one small, and their Health & Happiness what matters. My Tidy Cat Litter works so well, people always asks me, "Where is the Cat Litter Box?" I ask them to guess where my Cat's Litter Box is located, and I can not help but smile, as they continue multiple attempts to guess the location of a large Cat Litter box; which is usually about two feet away from them. I recommend Tidy Cat Litter to ALL Cat Guardians, and for those who don't know, you do have to clean out the Clumps, or "Cat Nuggets" from the Cat Litter Box every 2-3 Days. I always sprinkle a layer of fresh Cat Litter on top of recently cleaned Cat Litter. I am glad I decided to try Tidy Cat Litter years ago, and I have been using Tidy Cat Litter ever since. I know both of my Cats are happy as well with Tidy Cat Litter. I believe Tidy Cat Litter is a great benefit in maintaining my Cat's Health and Happiness.

Great Buy for the Money!
I've ordered this Tidy Cats Cat Litter, Clumping, Glade, 20-Pound Jug, Pack of 2 several times in the past. It is my favorite litter for my 2 cats as it seems to last longer without smelling than any other litter I have had. It doesn't seem to track very bad but I have some litter mats surrounding my boxes so they catch most of the tracking. I love the smell of the glade that is infused into the litter and it really takes away the odors of the cats and doesn't just mask the odors. I try to order my litter online so that it can be delivered to my door and I don't have to wrestle it from the store to the car to my house. This pack of two is actually cheaper than buying the same quantity in the store, so it's a win-win. Pros Great Smell Little Tracking Doesn't just mask odors Pack of two Cons None For the money, you can't go wrong with this litter that is delivered to your door. It's cheaper than what you would pay in a retail store and you don't have the hassle of moving it from place to place! Great product!
