This colour has drawn compliments Its long lasting with the top coat put on. It gives a good shine when the top coat is applied. Easy to remove with a nail varnish remover.

Love essie nail polishes. They always apply well. Fairy Tailor is a lovely natural pink. Ideal for minimal girlies.

I switched to Essie Gel Like polish after having a reaction to gel polish. The colour is nice and true to the picture. The application brush is lovely and makes application easy. It dries quickly which is a plus. I knocked a star off because of durability, it started chipping after 2 days

Nice polish quite hardy although I do use a bottom and top coat varnish so don’t know what it’s like on its own. Light subtle colour pink

I love this gel effect polish from Essie. When used with the top coat it has the shine of a gel manicure without the hassle and damage of removal. Fairy Tailor is a lovely barely there colour that can be worn as one coat for sheer or two coats for opaque finish. I have removed my gel nails and won’t go back to them as the removal process is too much for my naturally weak nails. I use a ridge filler base caps, x2 coats of colour polish, one coat of top coat and then a further top coat by Sally Hansen. Follow this with cuticle oil and the manicure will last me a week. I got this when it was on offer at under £7. Excellent value for a product that is easy to use, lasts well, doesn’t chip and dries relatively quickly.

I can usually get about 5-7 days wear using these gel nail varnishes. It’s important to prep the nail correctly, as you would if applying gel polish with a uv lamp. But these are perfect if you can’t be bothered with using gel and uv lamps and the agg of removing gel polish, along with the damage that gels can do to your nails. These polishes are a good alternative if you are going away for a long weekend, or have some occasion where you want nail polish to last more than a day or two. This is a nice natural shade too. The more layers you apply the darker the shade becomes. Although it not overly dark so bear that in mind.

Started using essie gel-like nail polish after my nails were damaged using gel nail polish. I am so impressed with it. Have tried a few brands but Essie is my favourite. They occasionally chip but I apply a further collar of nail polish then the top coat and they are good as new.

The polish chipped after 2 days. Not impressed.
