The OEM filter works better than the knock off filters. We have a heavy chlorine smell in our water that is filtered with this product. It has also helped slow hair loss. It was easy to install and the filter is easy to replace.

This shower filter has improved my scalp and skin. I used to have itchy scalp, it went away a month or so after I used this filter with the Afina shower head. My daughter’s falling hair dramatically stopped a month after using this filter with the shower head. My 82 year old mom felt her hair feel thicker, and she was worried about developing a bald spot months ago. This filter and shower head is highly recommended. It has great water pressure and easy to install. Maybe have noticed hair being less dry but haven’t noticed much change with skin. I’m on my 3rd filter. Price is decent.
