Great wireless camera
I recently purchased this camera (the Aosu D1 Max) and I am extremly pleased with the features, performance, price, and customer service. First of all, it was important for me to have a detachable solar panel (due to the location placement of the camera), which this has and it keeps the battery at 100% charge nearly all of the time. The image is 3K which is very high resolution and the 360 degree detection was also important to me. The AI detection works great and even tells me when a cat is detected. I also enjoy the very bright light and choice of alarms that sound when motion is detected. I did a lot of research and found that the price of this unit is very competitive considering all of the features it has. Lastly, their customer service is excellent, they answer the phone 24/7 and were very knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions about the initial setup. I would highly reccomend! the D1 Max!

Exelent sevurity camera-clear video & easy set up
Here’s a good security I am very satisfied with this security camera. The image quality is very clear, both during the day and at night, and the audio works perfectly. The installation was quick and easy, and the mobile app is very user-friendly. I really like that it sends real-time notifications when motion is detected, which gives me peace of mind. The connection is stable, and so far I haven’t had any issues. I definitely recommend it for home or business use. Great value for the price.

Solid Camera Without the Headache
Got me one of them aosu solar cameras and I gotta say, it’s been real solid. Price was fair, didn’t break the bank. Looks clean and simple, not all bulky. Setup was easy as pie—had it up and running in no time. Just does what it’s supposed to do, and does it well. Can’t really ask for much more than that.

Solid Semi Off-Grid Cam with Great Video
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this up in May after finding out Google Nest will no longer be supported (which I dropped way too much money on a few years back). A friend of mine had a few AOSU cameras and liked them, so I figured I’d give it a go. Ended up grabbing four different models to try them out, including this 360 cam with the separate solar panel. First off, the camera quality is great. The picture looks crisp, even at night, and the built-in light is super bright when it kicks on. It also has solid night vision if you want to run it dark. Motion tracking works too, though it’s maybe a bit too sensitive sometimes. I get alerts from bugs and cars on the road that are nowhere near my actual driveway. I kind of miss how Nest let me highlight zones to manage stuff like that. As far as I can tell, this camera doesn’t do that yet (unless it is only included in the subscription). One thing I like a lot is the fact it records to a microSD card (I ordered a 128GB SD separately). It only uses Wi-Fi when I check the live feed, so it doesn’t choke up the network like Nest cams always seemed to. And even though AOSU makes it sound like you have to subscribe to their cloud service, that’s not true. I skipped the subscription and haven’t lost a single feature that I've noticed. Just be aware, if you do go the cloud route, it’s charged per device, which adds up real quick. I think it was like $7 a month for each camera or $27/month for a 5-device plan. Personally, not worth it. I specifically wanted this camera to mount on the north side of my chicken coop, but still face the solar panel to the south. The separate solar setup worked perfect for that. It gave me enough cable to run the panel about 8 feet away and still had about a foot left over to bundle. The camera itself has a little 18-inch pigtail that connects to the solar cord, which was nice. It’s about 50 yards from my Wi-Fi router and I’ve had zero signal issues so far. It’s not perfect, but it’s been reliable, sharp-looking, and fits my needs. I’d say 4 stars mainly because the motion alert setup could use some improvement and that subscription pricing is kinda wild. But for the price, especially if you catch it on sale, it’s a win.

Stop looking, this is the camera you want
This is my 3rd security camera I've purchased. The camera is an absolute beast, it does what its suppose to do, detects and follows people, cars, animals etc. You can set intrusion zones, sensitivity, range etc. The day and night vision are excellent, very clear. It come with a 5 watt solar panel that for my use could not keep up with the battery charge, I live in the midwest and as you know winters can be very harsh, I sure in states that have mild winters the panel works just fine. What I ended up doing is getting a 10 watt solar panel with its own set of batteries (10400 mah). The camera has been running for 3 weeks with this set up and the camera has shown 100% battery life this whole time. The 10 Watt panel I purchased is a Zivif 10watt 10400 mah batteries. (very inexpensive) I highly recommend this set up, you will not regret it

If it fits your budget this is the best!
Excellent cameras for the price. Picked this one over other models because of bright night light. 400 lumens will be enough for an easy 15-20 feet away at 8 ft high. Solar and 360 view is great. Easy to manage and turn camera and scan. 6 screws and done. Solar panel absorbs light even on cloudy days! Can be very sensitive if set to detect all motion. App is easy to use and cameras easy to set up. I only feel detection is a bit delay when person moves very fast or very slow. And you cannot select certain areas or zone for detections. Happy for the value. I picked them because of a YouTube review on projectfarm. Customer service replies within a day!

Excellent solar security camera for outdoor use. Installation was quick and easy, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged without any hassle. Video quality is clear during the day and night, motion detection works accurately, and alerts are timely. The app is user-friendly and allows smooth live viewing and playback. Overall, great performance for the price and very reliable.

Really impressed with this AOSU camera. The 360° view and 3K resolution are super clear, even at night with the built-in floodlight. Setup was easy, and the solar power means I don’t have to worry about charging or wiring. Motion tracking is smooth, and the two-way talk is great for deliveries. Works well with Alexa and I feel good knowing the footage is encrypted. Overall, reliable, sharp, and completely hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Researched this camera and many others and decided on this one because of the features and the price on Prime Days. The camera was easy to set up and holding a charge I will see how it operates when the winter arrives but working good now. I wanted a camera that would track and this does a fairly good job not perfect but acceptable. I like the 360 view when you want to look around and the feature that returns the camera to its set position. The AI seems to work fairly good a lot of less false alarms than other cameras I’ve used. Time will tell but so far happy with my purchase.

I bought this camera mainly to keep an eye on my dogs when I’m not home. Installation was quick and easy—definitely a strong point. The 360° view is a great feature, especially for tracking pets around the room or yard, but due to the large size of the camera, you’ll want to mount it high for the best coverage and to keep it from being too intrusive. One thing I really appreciated is that you can use a microSD card instead of being locked into a cloud subscription. That flexibility is a big plus. Also, when I had an issue with one of the cameras, customer support (shoutout to Julie!) was super helpful and resolved the problem quickly. That said, there are some areas that could use improvement. The tracking is inconsistent—it sometimes misses my dogs entirely, instead locking onto things like shadows, swaying tree branches, or background movement outside the main zone. The zoom function is digital only, so when you zoom in, the image quickly becomes pixelated—don’t expect clear closeups. The app works, but it could definitely be better. Loading camera feeds often takes a while, and the pop-up ads feel out of place in a security-focused app. Live view is functional, but switching between cameras and moving the camera around can be sluggish. Audio is another weak spot—while I can speak through the camera, I often can’t clearly hear sounds from the other side, which limits two-way communication. At night, visibility drops significantly. The night vision is okay in a small, controlled area, but beyond 25-30 feet it becomes hard to see anything clearly. I also had one camera randomly go offline for a while, though it came back without needing a reset. In short: this camera system can be useful, especially if you want affordable, local-storage security with wide-angle views. But between the sluggish app, inconsistent tracking, and weak night performance, it feels like the hardware has potential that the software just doesn’t fully support yet. With a few updates, it could be great—but for now, it’s a mixed bag. I'll post an update in a couple of months if any new issues come up.

The camera is good, picture is very good. The tracking works as it should for vertical and horizontal movement. Night vision is quite concentrated at center and looses image at sides, but that's when the tracking is good. Easy installation, and solar panel works very good, and being separate from camera is a plus for under eves camera mounting. Battery is at 100% always. My only complaint, and loss of 2 stars is the subscription. More than half of the cameras options and settings are only available if you subscribe to the cloud service. It is also a US dollar only subscription. That's a total ripoff, which is not mentioned in the sales page. I may return for this reason alone.
