Fantastic beginner-friendly ceramic coating – Cerakote delivers great results at a fair price I’ve been using Cerakote products for a while now, and they have yet to disappoint. The quality is consistently excellent, and the pricing is very fair compared to other options. A little goes a long way — just two small bottles were more than enough to coat my small SUV. What I love most is how forgiving and easy it is to apply, especially for beginners. Ceramic coatings can be tricky (wrong paint correction, leaving it on too long or too short, etc.), but Cerakote makes the process much more straightforward. You simply watch for the “beads of sweat” to appear, and you know exactly when it’s time to buff it off. No guesswork! The results are impressive: the paint looks like glass, everything from dust to bugs wipes off easily, and the extreme hydrophobicity is obvious every time it rains. Water just beads up and rolls away. Overall, this is a very good, clean product that delivers professional-looking results without the stress. Excellent value — highly recommended!

Although I am a first time user of ceramic coating I can say I am impressed. I used this on a 2019 Honda Civic (red) and a 2016 BMW 5 series (dark blue). I had enough to do both cars with a little bit left over. As always the prep is very important. I washed, clayed then polished. Then, wiped down with a mix of distilled water and alcohol. Application took about an hour and a half per car. Do not let other reviews freak you out! It's not hard to do. After a little time you will see what is the right amount of time to leave it on before the wipe down. You might see a rainbow effect and or it's getting a little bit tacky. That's when it's time. The shine gets even a little better after a couple days. The best way I can describe the results is it looks like putting another coat of clear paint on it. Impressive shine and repels water, dirt and helps cleaning bugs off. If you do have some left over you can store it in the fridge. It lasted 6 weeks for me before I took it out and used it again. With what I had left over I did my hoods again. Wow! Just wow! Ultra shine! If you just have one car to do you may want to do a second coat for shine like you've never seen before.

The most incredible shine and performance, better than any wax. This product is very easy to use and will not disappoint. The vehicle still looks clean even after a rain storm. Pair this with their Glass & Wheel coating it’s worth it.

I have been Detailing for the past 24 plus years I always have used a different company for my Ceramic coating, this company send me a sample to try out and since then now im buying it more and more, they have great information brochures for customers and for your self. The package is very professional but the & the best after we apply it, it has a silky feel very smooth i would definitely would recommend it for home use or even as a busines very easy to apply.

So I got this for my Jeep which has the black almost galaxy style paint job. You cant really see the multi color specs till it's in the sun. It really deepened the black color. It goes on quite smoothly and not to bad to buff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I made 1 mistake. I accidently let the drivers side flash\dry too much and now it looks like it has streaks everywhere. Now I have to get a larger bottle of surface prep and put a lot of elbow into it to get the surface ready to try again. Not really a product defect, more of when you apply this, DO NOT let it completely dry on the vehicle's surface. I have tried other coatings and I was surprised when 1 bottle didn't go nearly as far as other products. Maybe that's the quality or maybe it's because the applicator is absorbing too much, not really sure??

Note that this is my first experience using this type of product. I applied to a white 23 ram 1500, all external painted surfaces. I did this in the shade of my garage from the cooler morning and into warmer in 85 deg+ temperature with low humidity. I did the strip wash, clay bar, iron out, alcohol prep- no polishing. The application went well, uzing a little more than 1 1/2 bottles. White is probably one of the safer colors to not see any application issues, but I didn't noticed any. Watch a few u-tube videos on application techniques. It is not difficult just set a timer, or two. While I was not expecting to save a lot of the chemical, I was concerned during the process if I would have enough with the rate of use as I went. I do expect I would use this product again, but may try an application pad that absorbs less coating. This will probably require adding the coating to the pad more often but also mean a little less waste. Also, having an extra pad in case one is dropped on the floor would be nice. I have some other products that give good results on glass, but after seeing this on my paint I am interested to try this on my windows. It is hard to objectively see a before / after without pictures- but my perception is a noticeable shine and very slick touch. When I wash the truck I am pleased with the hydrophobic properties and ease of cleaning. I will not get as many opportunities to wash the truck over the winter in the pacific northwest, but it will be a good test. I believe it will pass with a high grade based on what I have seen so far. Overall, I expect to use this again and would recommend it to friends.

Excellent for the beginner to the professional easy application with great hydrophobic properties. I don’t wash my cars or trucks. I just rinse them off and dry them with a blower. This stuff works so good.

The directions say one small bottle will do a normal car. I questioned that. But I just did a new Tesla Y Premium, and had about 1/5 left. As to application, i found it easy to do the entire car (not the glass roof) in under 3 hours. I am 93, and if I can do it, anyone can. Product went on easily, waited 5 minutes, gave it a wipe, then polished. Really easy and excellent results. The results look great; I can see myself in a door. Wow. Hoods tend to be hard to get streak free, but not this product, went on and off leaving NO marks. I do have a few suggestions. Follow the directions. I first looked at a video on line. worth doing. I used a package of micro towels. I changed the first wipe with the finish wipe, and replaced the finish with a new towel. My towels had edging, but I was careful to use only the flat portions. The resultant shine is great. How long it lasts, how it looks after a few days, not certain, but for now a fine result. Now it has cured for 4 days (instructions say one day) maybe I will longer results. Says it works on glass, but I just bought a glass product, as a Tesls has a LOT of glass to coat.

Exactly what you expect from a ceramic coating. Water beads off. Ease of application and u don’t need a whole lot. The vehicle looks brand new and has a glossy shine. Use for personal and customers and can tell you it hasn’t had any complaint back. After this is applied cleaning is easy. Just a once over with some shampoo and foam and no problem.
