This product has helped me so much with my social anxiety and irritability. I have a cabinet full of supplements that never worked for me. I was amazed the first time I used LO with the proper dosage. I had started taken 5 mg a day and didn't notice any changes. I upped it to 15 mg and was amazed of how I felt. Over the weeks of experimenting with dosage I have found that I need about 20 mg-30 mg under high stress situations. For me, I feel after about 3-4 hours I need to take about 10 mg more to continue the effects when under high stress. Everyone is different, you must experiment to come up with what you need. I've noticed that LO makes some people relaxed and others alert. For me, it makes me more alert and clear minded. The only side affects for me is that it gave me insomnia the first couple of weeks but that has now passed and if I don't drink enough water I may get a headache. This is better than anything I have ever taken! It makes you feel like a normal person. No horrible side affects like prescription medications. I have normal emotions, I still get happy, sad, anxious, etc. but at normal levels. I can't express how happy I am to have found this product!

Works well for me...even gives me a little energy boost, like drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. I would recommend not taking it at night - the first night I took it I couldn't sleep. I have taken it at night since, and the effect seems to have diminished, so YMMV. Test it out at different times of day. Mood is much improved. Less depression/anxiety, less yelling. Spoken as a mom of a 4-year-old with ODD who had postpartum depression for a couple years. This works better than Zoloft, and no worries about side effects even when pregnant. I think that this may not work if low lithium levels are not your problem, but for the price it's certainly worth giving it a shot.

I am trying to quit anti depressants as they seem to cause more harm than good especially long term. I’ve been taking one of these every morning instead. My mood has improved a little. I need more time to paint an accurate picture.

I was told by my psychiatrist to take lithium orate, this product was the first one I seen when searching. This product works very well.

First I give three stars as it was delivered on time and product was exactly as described. The capsules are fairly small, easy to swallow, and noticed no offensive odor. I just think I had a placebo effect at best. I'm in the middle of week 2 taking these....Started with 5 mg and worked up to 20 (four capsules per day) I really haven't noticed anything different regarding my moods, compared to other supplements I've taken in the past. I realize it is hard to quantify how well these kinds of products work as everyone 's biochemistry is so different, but from what I've heard Lithium Orotate is more helpful for people with bipolar disorder - which I do not have. I did hear that it was good for relieving depression, which I do suffer from, although it's more along the lines of the "seasonal blahs" than anything else. So take from that what you will. I will continue with what's left of my supply, but I will probably switch back to st John's wort or kanna. Best of luck and hope this helps!

The ingredients in the ad say only lithium orotate. What I was sent said "orotate, carbonate." Gave me little confidence to ingest.

It is good and a lot better than the pharma-mafia products!

My son was not able to tolerate pharmaceutical lithium and a whole host of other psychotropic mood stabilizers. This KAL Lithium Orotate is an over-the-counter product--no prescription required--and it works! My son takes 10 mg per day. He had significant mood stability problems before starting to take this OTC Lithium Orotate. Excellent product for the price.

The company KAL refuses to provide a COA to demonstrate the purity of their product. This is the only company to refuse this request. The pills have a very unpleasant chemical smell which is very strong. Contaminated products are a concern within the supplement industry, no COA is a bad sign.
