Great performance, plug n play in linux
Great, works as seamlessly as if it were onboard wifi. No drivers, no configuration, just plug n play in CachyOS. Fast performance, I get the same wireless as I do wired on my network.

plug&play and surprisingly good performance in 5GHz band in the presence of obstructions
The adapter works in Linux out of the box (I use Raspberry Pi 5). 5 GHz connection is very stable even when the signal is week (-78dB separated from the router by two thick concrete walls, many APs creating interference). This adapter outperformed my other adapters and surprisingly even Asus router in WISP mode in terms of speed and stability. 2.4 GHz band worked as expected. I couldn' t very get very good performance on 6 GHz band even in the same room with the router, but I don't have many other 6E devices to compare, just a router and this adapter. I would recommend this adapter solely based on the ease of installation (plug&play in linux), good performance in 2.4 and 5GHz bands, and seller's excellent and helpful customer service. I think it is a good value for money and will be durable when handled with care.

Great price, good device, but a bit bulky
I bought this as my desktops motherboard was a non-wifi. The device works great and provides fairly high speeds for this price. It is easy to use and install the drivers as the drivers are included on a separate usb stick. This is a direct connect into a usb port and does not provide bluetooth connectivity. The only issue I have found is that the device is a bit bulky in the port and its stability seems to be lacking. If using this in a desktop I suggest using it in a port that it will not need to be removed from and will be in a spot that is not in the way at all.

Works great. speed increased.
Used it on a 6 year old desktop PC. Speed went up 300 mbps which is perfect for me. Took a bit to setup but overall its a great buy.

Failed at 2 months old. QC issues.
This died at 2 months old. It is my believe that it is due to poor quality control at the connector. My reason for believing this is that the dongle will briefly enumerate if jiggled. This was tested on 3 PIs in 2 ports each (6 tests in all). I would not suggest this dongle to anyone expecting reliable service.

Plug-and-play on Linux, and monitor mode just works
I should be upfront that I am reviewing this from a specific angle. I use these for WiFi sniffing during penetration tests, so what I care about is Linux support and monitor mode. On both counts, these have been excellent. On Linux they simply worked. No driver hunting, no compiling anything, no fiddling. Plug it in and it is there. If you have ever fought with a USB WiFi adapter that needs an out-of-tree driver and breaks on every kernel update, you know how much that is worth. Monitor mode works great, and the adapter can be put into promiscuous mode without trouble. For anyone shopping specifically for a monitor-mode-capable adapter, that is the whole ballgame, and a lot of adapters quietly fail at it. These do not. They have also been rock solid in use, no random drops or flakiness. The hardware itself is unremarkable. It stays together, and the included antennas are average but do their job. Against onboard WiFi it is a big step up, though honestly that is true of almost any external adapter with real antennas, so I would not weigh that too heavily. I have several of these now and will be buying more for future builds. If you need a dependable USB WiFi adapter that behaves on Linux and handles monitor mode, these have earned my recommendation.

this is the one you want for Kali.
Use this strictly for my penetration testing needs. I have an m1 MacBook Pro and as you may or may not know, Apple locks these things down pretty well. It's not like the good old Intel-based MacBook days where you could just boot whatever you wanted. So in order to get Kali up and running, I had to acquire the ARM-based variant and load up VMware fusion. Once in the VM, the internal wifi from the MacBook can only be bridged making monitor mode impossible so you need an external Wi-Fi adapter such as this one. Now, with the super long backstory out of the way, let's talk about this adapter. It's great! I plug it in and it's immediately recognized by both the host and the VM and the range in this this is superb! I can pick up my Wi-Fi about 10m further away than I can with my internal adapter. As far as I read, I think the wifi 6 spec only works in Linux out of the box, but can work in Windows with customized drivers. But it works great in Kali. Plug and play. And the removable antenna are great so I can attached my various other longer range antenna for testing long range equipment. Highly recommended.

Excellent Long Range NIC, painless installation great value
This was a no-brainer, needed a NIC that would get me in range of Xfinity WiFi NOW, which I could access previously only on the street right in front of my building. I have an apartment that faces the street but could not access that access point. This NIC gives a strong signal and is saving me $80/month and giving me higher throughput. Installation was relatively painless, included a flash drive with the driver. Note: not tested with Windows 11 nor will I be because I was victim to the S41T Show, never again
