This waterproof pouch worked out great! I was able to operate my phone while snorkeling. Switching between video and pics no problem. And it floats so I never worried about dropping it.

I wanted a case that I could use with my iPhone to take underwater photos and videos. I selected this case based on YouTube reviews of waterproof iPhone cases for snorkeling. I didn’t want to spend over $100 for a scuba worthy case so I chose this one. After receiving it, I took it to the pool, put in tissues and weights and sank it in the deep end of the pool (~11-12 feet) for 15 minutes. There was no leakage so on my next visit I put in my iPhone and repeated the test. Again no leakage. I also experimented taking photos and videos (with permission of the pool attendants) so I would be able to use it easily on my trip. The case worked as expected and I was able to take videos and photos underwater successfully. This case is lightweight, flexible, and compact (sized to the iPhone and not oversized to accommodate all phones). Follow the instructions for pre and post use. Always test water tightness of any case before you put your expensive phone in it.

Used in Hawaii for 2 weeks, no issues at all. Be sure to test yours in basin to ensure its watertight (without your phone first haha). But taken into a pool, and numerous lagoons and waterfalls to snorkel with. Takes some getting used to as you need to fill it with little bit of air, but kept seawater out and phone in great working shape. In my case, besure to snap more than 1 photo to ensure its in focus. Videos worked but visiblity wasn't too far so will depend on your water clarity, its difficult to select focus of things underwater because its so boyant. Lots of trial and error using it as there's no real way to practice using this at home before taking it on a trip because using it in surf or chasing fish and other sea life with it while submerged is totally didn't. If anything this phone case has only 1 orientation and isn't how I old it so it made it a little clumsy to hold it in many angles but highly recommended for those heavy water oriented vacations

The case is great but the strap ripped. Specially the little string that connects the phone to the big strap. I have no idea why they made that so thin when the big strap is bulkier. The case itself does indeed float, but the damn strap needs to be fixed.

just used it for shark cage diving and snorkeling in hawaii. works like a charm. phone stayed dry and i was actually able to use the touch screen under water. great case for the price. only downfall is it is kind of clunky out of the water and you have to take your current case off before placing it in here.

Purchased this and took it to the beach on vacation. The ESR Waterproof Phone Pouch is one of those product which does exactly what is advertised. - It is very easy to insert the iPhone into the pouch, even with a couple cards such as your drivers license and credit card. - The pouch with the phone inserted will float even if you forget to blow air into the pouch after inserting the phone. - I am able to take calls while my phone is in the pouch without any issue of the caller hearing what I am saying or what they are saying to me. - The camera takes great pictures through the pouch. I couldn't tell the difference in pictures taken with the phone in the pouch or out of the pouch. - I used the pouch while having a Zagg glass screen protector installed on my phone and did not notice any issues with the operation of the screen.

So I just received the waterproof pouch pro for my iPhone 4. Fitting wise, it’s perfect for my iPhone 14 Pro. The phone is snug inside. I followed the instruction to do a 15 min submersion test. I followed the Instruction And timed the test and submerged the pouch in my above ground pool. Because it’s very light and it will just float, I covered it with a heavy cloth to make sure it’s fully submerged. The video included shows after the 15min test. So far, the tissue inside is very dry. I also tested if the touch screen will be responsive after you blow air inside (as part of the set up), and so far I didn’t have any problem. You just have to push it a little more than usual as you have to consider the plastic and the air space between them. I will give an update of its functionality and efficacy with a real phone later when I’ll go for a swim and take pics under the water.

Très étanche parfait pour les été arrosés

An excellent product! I was just talking with my family about the challenge of going to the beach on my own to swim — about what to do with my phone (which has my transit card in it), my I.D. and my credit card. I can’t leave them on the beach for fear of theft. Then I found this product and it meets my needs perfectly. It feels like a product Apple would build — well-designed, well-executed, great fit and finish. The attached video shows images of: (1) unboxing — sturdy package, no package waste, easy to open and unpack. (2) the items inside — the case (which has a tray inside to hold the phone securely and a strap attacher already attached, a strap with the inflater tube attached, an instruction manual and a “waterproof test” instruction card. (3) each piece with my iPhone 14 Pro next to it for size reference. (4) the phone in the inner tray, then installed in the case. (5) the waterproof test (15 minutes submersed with a paper towel inside). Everything fit nicely and worked smoothly. The case latch opens and closes easily and security. The phone fits into the inner tray and slides in perfectly. The tray has a place for two cards — perfect for my I.D. and a credit card. The phone can be used easily with dedicated, solid buttons on the outside of the case for the power and volume control buttons. This inflater tube also worked; the instructions say to inflate the case (via a well-sealed port) when in water between 0 and 3 meters, noting that the phone can’t be operated when inflated until in the water (I haven’t tried that yet). The waterproofing test went smoothly — the paper towel stayed completely dry as did everything inside the case. I put a couple of soap bottles on top of the case to keep it submerged, and gave it some serious shakes underwater, too. No problems there. The case has a little “balloon”-like air bladder on the outside to ensure that it will float if released accidentally underwater. It’s a cool design... I just want to see if I can keep it from floating around when I swim in the ocean. I’m sure I can do this by tightening the strap around my chest. I plan to wear a rash guard for comfort... let’s see. The clear plastic window over the camera is well-fitted to the camera; I’ll see if there are any photo quality issues, but based on my past experience with. ESR products I don’t expect any problems. I didn’t buy this to be able to take photos underwater but who knows — maybe I’ll be lucky enough to go snorkeling one day. Overall — this exceeded my expectations for what a waterproof case could be. Having the phone secure in the tray and in the case really is reassuring — it all fits together well. The quality matched what I’ve experienced with ESR products — well-conceived and well-executed.
