This is actually the world’s first decentralized full duplex wireless intercom headset system, so they are de-hosted, meaning any one of them can be a master. They’re very easy to use, simply insert the battery, flip the “on” switch and hold down the button to pair all of the activated headsets. The interface is rather intuitive, as it should be (otherwise you’d have to take the headset off every time you need to adjust something). There are buttons to increase/decrease volume, and you mute your headset by simply flipping the microphone up. There is a setting where the master headset can override all other headsets, muting their microphones and only allowing them to listen to the person with the master headset speaking. They have great range and the signal also transmits through walls/floors easily. My favorite feature which I find most practical on set is the real-time monitoring through the 3.5mm mic port. If you plug a headset into your audio recorder with a 3.5mm cable (not included), all other headsets can also monitor the audio in real time. That’s something I’ve never seen personally! The battery life lasts all day, they boast a 24 hour battery life, and include multiple chargers for the batteries, though there are no extra batteries (5 included for the 5 headsets). There is also a lot of value in the included carrying case which fits everything neatly and makes it nice and portable. I would highly recommend this for a small film set for easy communication or even allowing multiple crew members to monitor audio at once!

I recently tested the SYNCO XTalk X5 wireless headsets on a shoot, using three of the five included in the pack. Pros: The battery life is impressive, making these headsets practical for longer shoots, and the price point is ideal for budget-conscious filmmakers needing multiple headsets. Cons: Unfortunately, I experienced a roughly one-second audio delay, which made communication less seamless. Another downside is the constant audio prompts when powering on/off the units; these cannot be disabled, at least to my knowledge, and they became distracting. Additionally, the build quality leaves room for improvement; the headsets feel flimsy, and all three units I used had issues staying on securely. When switching from “on” to “off,” the headsets sometimes slipped entirely, which happened across team members of different head sizes, suggesting a design flaw. Overall: This set is practical for filmmakers on a budget needing a basic communication solution on set or during events, as long as they’re okay with minor compromises. The 5-pack includes headsets, a hardshell case, soft velvet bags, five batteries, three dual chargers, charging cables, labeling stickers, and extra ear cushions—a thorough setup for the price.

We bought these to use when we go on rides in our side-by-side, which is somewhat noisy, even at slow speeds. When we tested the headsets inside beforehand, we thought Great! good, clear sound quality. In our RZR, with wind and engine and (gravel) road noise - a completely different result. I could hear maybe one word in 5. Sentences sounded garbled and unintelligible. I was SO disappointed! Furthermore, I found the "earmuff" pushed on my eyeglass temple end, pushing my glasses askew. (my husband didn't experience these issues) When I switched to the foam pad included with the headsets, I could hear better and it doesn't push on my glasses. The micro-second delay from speaking to hearing is also somewhat off-putting... I can see my husbands mouth moving.... THEN hear his words. (If you can't see the person who's speaking, this wouldn't be an issue.) For our purpose, these are usable, but not ideal. However, if you were using them inside, with no other noises and no wind, I'd imagine they would be great.

Overall pretty solid system! I got around 100-150 yards line of sight before I encountered problems with signal dropping out. I would say if you are in an interior event center like churches, wedding venues, smaller event centers, you shouldn't have any issues with signal dropping out. Probably wouldn't use in large stadiums or for concerts due to the 1 earpiece. But overall... good value and good quality! Would recommend to small creative teams on a budget! PROS: Good sound quality and volume level. Good battery life. Great carrying case and organization system. Really easy to use! CONS: Cheaper feel, won't be ideal for concert setting due to 1 earpiece speaker. Build quality feels like it is a budget system (which this is, so it met my expectations)

I tried these at my most recent shoots and I am impressed by the quality of this product. I wasn’t sure I was buying a reliable pair of headsets because of the low price, but they did not fall short. The background noise removal feature worked extremely well until the venue and music became too loud, at which point it was difficult to hear my second shooter. The battery life is absurdly long and I didn’t have to charge it during three different shoots (I don’t recommend you do this). Lastly, they feel slightly fragile, but have kept up with my workflow so far, although I wish we could pay a little extra for a hard case to store them. Would definitely recommend to fellow filmmakers 👍🏼

We got this set for our 8th grade football team. Works great! We play our games in the high school stadium and we had no problems whatsoever. 1 coach up in the press box and 4 coaches down on the sidelines. Crystal clear audio. No static or interruptions. Easy to use. Paired instantly once turned on. Carrying case is excellent. Hard mold to protect everything and soft inner bags for each headset.

I bought these because I needed something fast, turns out it was a huge mistake. The headsets have about a second delay and the noise cancelling is horrible in any situation with any amount of music in the background. Just do yourself a favor and spend the money on something better. I am currently returning them and buying something else.

I purchased these for our boat, to help us docking. In the motor yacht world we call these marriage savers. They do not fit as snug as we would like. There is a major problem with voice delay. There is about a 1 to 2 second voice delay When speaking and when we are docking two seconds could mean crashing into another boat. We’re going to try them again. If they fail, we are returning these. The quality and workmanship is not what we expected. I will give kudos to the company for getting them to us two days before they said it was supposed to arrive .

Muy buenos, los uso para coordinar a mi gente de cámaras, solo que en ocasiones siento que al ser un ambiente ruidoso donde los uso, le hace falta ser más agresivo el ANC, ya que se logra filtrar el sonido de el orador por los audífonos, y una de las características por las que decidí, es por la posibilidad de tener aparte una entrada de audio para monitorizar audio de la producción, la batería dura mucho.

Worked absolutely fine, straight out of the box. Sound quality is good and the range is better than we need. Good quality and well packed. No pairing required as this is preset by the manufacturer.
