Dexnor for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 10.4 Inch Case with Keyboard

I looked at several other keyboard covers for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Nearly all of them cost less than the Dexnor one, this one. But I'll say this - you get what you pay for, and the Dexnor unit is EXCELLENT. Some folks have complained about the tilt/angle for the screen. I haven't found that personally to be an issue. After folding the first joint upward from the keys (to make a roughly 75-degree angle), there's another joint which can be pivoted. Granted, the pivot isn't to 90 degrees flat, but it's enough for me. And the height at which it holds the tablet above the keypad is just about perfect - I'm a little surprised at how much of a difference this makes and how much I like it. I can view websites or videos in landscape mode at a comfortable height without having to hold the tablet with my hands. One comment others have made is about the weight of the keyboard cover. Yes, it's a bit on the hefty side at close to 3 pounds with the tablet attached. But I compared it against my Surface Pro 6 (which I got "renewed" here on Amazon, good deal there also) and there's only a few ounces difference. That it has a smaller footprint with the keyboard attached makes it smaller and more toteable than my Surface or Asus (14-inch laptop) units. I had expected to loop the tablet into the keyboard cover by way of those elastic straps that universal units often have. Dexnor chose a more elegant solution - a sufficiently strong magnet that holds the tablet in place. And the unit I got for the S6 really could be theoretically used for other 10-inch tablets - it's just that this particular one has an opening for the rear camera (which I pretty much never use!). I don't find the unit particular "wobbly" as some have suggested. The keyboard is sleek and flat, and is also illuminated - with a choice of colors! The design of the keyboard cover is such that (I'm guessing) the vertical weight and the tilt presses downward. I haven't had the thing tip over yet, although I've only used it on table tops rather than in my lap. Your mileage may vary. Another thing worth noting is that this is a Bluetooth keyboard. There is no cable or connector to the S6 tablet. That might sound like it would be a recipe for disconnection frustration but I've not had any issues with the BT connection yet. It connects after powering up in under 5 seconds. The engineers that designed this Dexnor unit clearly did their homework. And I nearly forgot to mention one of the best things about this cover - it has a touchpad! The Android platform has something called "DeX" (look it up) that allows you to use an Android tablet more like a Windows or Apple desktop system, and that includes a floating cursor. This brings me more happiness than you might imagine. So, if you're on the fence about whether this Dexnor keyboard cover is worth the extra clams, let me assure you - it is. For the build quality, for the touchpad, for the illuminated keys, and for the excellent design, I can't think of a better unit even if Samsung had designed one themselves.

I have been waiting years for a non-Apple version of the Magic Keyboard to come into existence! The S6 Lite is a very small tablet, but still too large for phone-style thumb typing, so if you want to use it to take typed notes then some sort of keyboard is a must-have. The Dexnor case is sturdy, well-designed, and easy to use. It connects via Bluetooth, with no need to manually connect after the first pairing; just wake the keyboard up by powering it on and it connects within seconds to the tablet. There is initially some input lag, but that's to be expected from any Bluetooth input device. It takes some time to get used to typing on such a tiny keyboard, but that comes from using a tiny tablet. Magnetic attachment is WAY stronger than I anticipated, which is perfect, since I carry it folded in my backpack for college. The tablet will not come out on its own, even through a lot of jostling. It folds neatly down for transport and back up for use. It also has a seemingly endless battery - I've charged it once since I got it, and only then because I figured it might need it, not because it had died. I may well have been able to use it this entire time without charging it. The only issues I have had so far: - Limited viewing angles; I would like to be able to tilt the screen further back - No graceful way to open the tablet; you sort of have to pry it open All around - this keyboard is a blessing for anyone wanting to use an S6 Lite for school. Great battery, sturdy design, strong magnetic attachment for both tablet and S Pen.

For years I have been wanting to be able to turn my tablets into a laptop and then back to a tablet easily. Most of the time I just use a tablet like a tablet, but there are times when it would be handy to use the tablet like a laptop. This case accomplishes that task very, very well. Here are some of the Pros: - The tablet just snaps on to the case with magnets and it feels very secure. - You do not have to modify the tablet in any way like attach some Velcro or a bracket. - No "kick stand". I really dislike kick stands. This uses a sturdy hinge to keep the tablet up and it doesn't have a tendency to tip backward. - Adjustable viewing angle. - Backlit keyboard. - Nice secure storage of my S Pen. Some of these cases just have an open slot on the back. This one holds the pen securely between the keyboard and tablet. Some Cons: - The trackpad two finger scroll is just "ok"... it is too sensitive and it is kind of jerky. You can adjust it somewhat in Android settings, but still isn't smooth. This is the one thing I think could be improved. - The viewing angle is sufficiently adjustable, but not quite as adjustable as a laptop. - The keyboard obviously adds some significant weight. That's not a criticism of the product, just a tradeoff to think about. - A little expensive, but still worth the price. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this as THE best option currently available for turning a Samsung S6 tablet into a laptop.

I am a Notary public aside from my main job and i have been looking for a case with a keyboard for my Galaxy Tab S6 lite and when i came across this one i was sold! The tablet attaches perfectly with a strong hold and i love that it has a magnetic hold for the pen that comes with the tablet. the color is a black matt which i like although i wouldnt have mind some color to it but thats ok beacuse the keys make up for that. You can switch from different colors for your the backlights of the keys for working in dim or dark places. the protection is good in my opinion ( i tend to take care of my things and not toss or fling them around) the magnet is very strong to hold the tablet in place as well as the pen holder. My only dislike is that it looks dirty when its not beacuse of your fingerprints left behind from just handling the case so im always having to wipe it down with a damp rag or papertowel. The battery seems to hold up for a a few days with out cgarging and connect pretty quickly to my tablet. It is a little pricy for my budget but i was able to get it while it was on discount! The durability seems promosing but only time will tell. 10/10 highly recommend

I really wanted to love this keyboard case! It has a quality feel to it but I never got up use it because nothing I own would discover it in bluetooth pairing. I tried my best though. I researched it online, I followed the institutions for a factory reset just in case it was previously paired, I even read the instructions. All to no avail, I must return it and try to find another brand.

This product is great. I used it for about six months, but unfortunately, the magnets that hold the tablet upright started coming out. The product is great until it loses its durability and no longer can stand up straight. That’s the only downside which was a bummer.

THE GOOD The unit holds the tablet well and does not threaten to detach at the drop of a hat. Honestly, I think that the original Samsung magnetic case is wonderful and this competes with that as far as hold strength. I had no trouble connecting via BlueTooth and the key layout is fine as long as you can get accustomed to the smaller than standard footrprint. I had no connection drops (other than what is written below) and the signal works very well. No latency issues whatsoever. Keys are tactile and travel a good amount, making typing feel impactful and solid. The S Pen slot under the table and above the keys is a god-send. It's one of the reasons I wanted to use this. The track pad is fluid and accurate, BUT… THE BAD The track pad is just a little too big for the size of the keyboard. I constantly graze it with my thumbs or manage to hit a key that will bring up another window or, mysteriously, manage to deactivate my BlueTooth or Wifi. Seriously, it happens every 20 seconds. And it's not just the track pad: there must be some kind of key combo that I am continuing to hit that brings up the quick launch commands because I am endlessly being pulled away from my typing experience. I have the Samsung official typing cases for my larger units (S8, S9+, S10 Ultra) and I have NEVER struggled like this. <EDIT - Maybe the issue was that my “multi control” was activated. After turning that off, I had much less interruption. Still, I constantly have the cursor throwing me all over the page as I try to type this out on Google Docs. It's infuriating! There must be some control option I can use to calm this down> The other point to keep in mind is that this is a small keyboard with a cramped layout, like many of the normal Samsung keyboards for these devices. Once you can get used to that, you should be OK, aside from the track pad. I am franticly searching for a way to just deactivate it. All of that said, the real drawback to this is the processing power of the Tab S6 itself. This little tablet is great for drawing and checking social media, but it has trouble jumping from one task and app to another. Similarly, the screen size makes this a bit more difficult to work with if you want to use it to type out replies on pages (or Amazon reviews). Add that to the fact that in order to browse FaceBook or Instagram you need to have the page open via the browser, not the native app, and you have a very odd pairing. The S6 Lite is simply NOT a device that calls for an attached keyboard. All said and done, I think that a decent Chromebook will vastly out perform this combination. My Lenovo Duet 5 and my older Pixel Slate both offer a superior typing and productivity experience than what I can get on this S6 Lite combo. It's a little disheartening. If you want to have the magic keyboard feel, you will be better suited with a unit that works with the slightly larger Tab S7, S8, S9, or S10+. Oddly, this combo with the S6 lite is the same size as the unit I am testing for my S8, despite the obvious difference in device size. Both are distressingly bulky, but that's life. All of this is also ignoring the elephant in the room: how does this compare to an iPad with a similar keyboard? Honestly, it's not even competing in the same league, let alone the same continent, on the same planet. The modern, standard iPad (A16 chip as of this writing) BLOWS the processing power of even the upper Samsung tablets out of the water at a fraction of the price. Even the modern S6 Lite is only slightly cheaper than the base iPad. The only benefit is that I prefer drawing on my Samsung. I have an A14, iPad 10th gen with an off-brand magic keyboard and a 2021, M1 iPad Pro with an official Magic Keyboard and they are worlds ahead of this. I've never struggled with the trackpad, the commands are smooth, and everything just works…BETTER. Granted, both Android and Apple have the limited version of Chrome, so navigating your bookmarks and access bar is equally galling on both systems. If Chrome and Google are your preferred ecosystem, get a Chromebook. If you're an Apple person, this isn't even worth considering. Sadly, I will be returning this. Oh, how I wanted to love it!

First of all, i love this keyboard. Unlike all the other keyboards this is sturdy and allows for typing on uneven surfaces like your lap. Plus the backlight keybaord is wonderful and you can choose what color you want and the brightness. The spot for the pen is also great. The magnetic hold for the tablet is super strong, i almost have trouble seperating the two (in a good way) My only problems are 1. You cant adjust the position back very far. I personally like to tilt my screens pretty far back to get a good angle 2. The keyboard half of the case is pretty light and thin and can be quite unbalanced due to the weight of the large magnet and the tablet on the other end. Being honest these are only small problems for me but might be more significant to others. Other than this, it practically turns your tablet into a laptop which i find extremely usefull with its sim capabilities for internet on the travel and its relatively small size. While also having the functionality of the s-pen it becomes the perfect note taker, school or work companion, or travel companion.

The product was damaged very quickly. If you look closely at the damaged area, it's impossible for it to be user error.

This keyboard bundle is a great choice for a portable laptop substitution. I used this for my s6 lite and was a good decision. This is quite expensive but trust me it’s worth it, especially if your going to be using it almost daily your not going to be wanting a flimsy keyboard case. Just remember this is not a actual laptop, so the case will have a slight delay on the trackpad and other various things.

So happy with this. I took a chance and bought it hoping my Samsung s5e would fit as its only 2 mm narrower than the S6. I just had to use some very thin double sided tape to stick it on. It has revolutionised my Tab use. So happy with it. Great feel and quality. Not very light but not an issue at all.
