THE sound of modern rock guitar
I have experience with Vintage 30s in my Mesa OS 2x12 cab , and I wanted a similar sound but in a smaller package. I swapped one of these in an old Marshall MX112 1x12 lying around that I never really liked and holy cow - what a difference! Now this old cab that was just taking up space has a new lease on life and I plan on taking this out more than my other amps. Even at low volumes it sounds meatier and gives a lot more bass response like my Mesa cab so I bet once it is broken in at band volume level it will decimate all.

The best
Will change any amp into the best amp you ever heard. I swap out an eminence redcoat for this and is Amazing. It made a great amp better. It will make your cheap amp great. Get it

Great quality speaker!!!
I replaced the stock speaker in my Marshall DSL40C with the Vintage 30. It is not even close to being broken in but let me say WOW! I have a Schecter with active EMG's in it and it sounded pretty good even with the stock speaker in it. I bought an ESP with Seymour Duncan passive pickups on it and no matter the adjustments to the amp or pedal board it always sounded muddy in the bottom end. I paid a lot of money for that ESP and was fit to be tied. I was thinking about switching out the Duncan's with something else but I kept thinking, this is an ESP guitar built by hand in Japan. Not an LTD from S. Korea and these are the king of kings when it comes to Metal so I better do some research first. I found an article online which stated that upgrading the speaker in your amp is probably the first step to take if you have a quality guitar, a good tube amp but it doesn't sound right. It went on to say that in most cases people replace the pups which are not cheap to buy 2 high quality humbuckers. If you can't replace them yourself be prepared to let it sit at a Tech's shop for a couple of weeks and pay them even more money. In most cases this still doesn't do the trick. I'm glad I read this article first and replaced the speaker with one of the best ever, a Vintage 30 because now my ESP sounds like a guitar of it's caliber. Mud no more! Sounds great and it only took me about 10-15 minutes from start to finish to swap out the speakers. Do not hesitate to buy these speakers because they will not disappoint. No disrespect to the ESP LTD series either, they are great guitars as well.

Industry standard metal speaker
I love the vintage 30 speakers. These things became industry standard for metal. Can’t go wrong with these they’ve got plenty of bite and they break up nicely paired with a Marshall or Peavey tube amp.

UK MADE!!! 🇬🇧
UK MADE!!! Celestion finally went back to making them in the UK as of a few months ago and was expecting them to be Chinese made since I bought them off of Amazon and not big name stores like Sweetwater or Guitar Center. Sure enough, they can in made in the UK! For those who didn’t know there was a difference, the UK made vs. the Chinese made sound close but not the same either the Chinese being more pokey and harsh in the higher frequencies. Can’t wait to break them in 😎😎

These are some big time speskers.
I have a 4x12 with seventy 80's and I made a 2x12 with these V30's. If I set the 2x12 on the floor it sounds awesome. I've been using it more than the 4x12. I'm in the process fitting it with these V30's also, that should be even better. Oh and yea, these speakers amazing. They sound better as they break in.

Excellent speaker but beware damage
Great sounding speaker (bought based off hearing at a friend's house) but product is not adequately protected for damage at factory - no foam, no cradle etc. I ordered two and both arrived with rim of frame bent, not usable. Speaker is only enclosed in corrugated box and corrugate sleeve, so really nothing to cushion if dropped in transit etc. Also should note that while product page indicates item is returnable it is not, apparently for safety reasons as it's considered hazardous material (according to Amazon customer service). Amazon did quickly and painlessly refund full price for both though but I'll have to recycle. Really a shame Celestion decided to save a few pennies and go cheap on protection!

Perd une etoile car indiqué développé et fabriqué au Royaume-Uni... Mais ''Made in China'' c'est pas correct de la part du vendeur. On achete neuf pour etre sur du produit et c'est pas ce qu'on achete au final.

This is fantastic! I bought this speaker to replace the Celestion 70/80 in my new Marshal DSL 40C combo amp, there's nothing wrong with the 70/80 but I was just curious to see if there might be an improvement in the sound. Let me tell ya, the difference was jaw dropping, suddenly it became became so much more articulate. Everything seemed to just tighten up and clean, revealing subtle differences I hadn't noticed before. Also the dynamic range increased tremendously but with no muddyness in the sound, it has made an already brilliant amp even better. To say I am blown away is an understatement, also comparing the two speakers after removing the original 70/80, I noticed the magnet on the Vintage-30 is over twice the thickness and size of the 70/80. The weight is also over twice as much in the Vintage-30, so in conclusion if you want to improve the sound of your Marshal DSL-40C. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra money on a Vintage-30 speaker, you won't be disappointed!

Vintage 30'larda üretildiği ülkeye göre ton değişikliği oluyormuş bu hangi ülke menşeili bilmiyorum ama ben Blackstar HT40 MKiii amfime taktım odaklılık ve netlik arttı; amacım da buydu thrash tonlar için daha fazla agresiflik ve tightlık almak. Öncesinde Celestion seventy-80 vardı ona göre daha fazla high-mid, bir tık daha az presence frekanslara sahip ayrıca bas frekansları daha odaklı.

It's a V30 Celestion, upgraded from a Seventy/80. I'm very satisfied with this product. The sound is an improvement as it has a cleaner tone and less bass scoop than the original speaker.

Got the Brand new original sealed pack box, delivered very quickly. No need to tell about the speaker itself. It's awesome
