I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic these udon noodles taste. They have that thick, chewy texture you expect from good Sanuki udon, and they hold up beautifully whether you use them in hot broth or stir-fry. The freshness makes a big difference compared to dried noodles. Cooking them is very simple. They only need a few minutes in boiling water and they are ready to go. I have paired them with miso broth, soy-based soups, and even just tossed them with sesame oil and vegetables, and they always turn out satisfying. The packaging is neat and keeps the noodles from clumping. Each pack feels like the right portion for a meal, which makes weeknight cooking easier. The shelf life is reasonable for fresh noodles, but I ended up using mine quickly because they were so versatile. Cook time is fast!

Great texture and clean taste. Easy/quick to cook and doesn’t break apart like other precooked noodles. Love that they have very few ingredients and not loaded with chemicals. I’ve ordered twice and will order more in the future.

These were exactly as expected. I’m happy with the noodles. They are easy to cook, no weird texture or flavor. As I have a hard time finding the thick fresh udon noodles, these definitely met my expectations.

The noodle were definitely chewy in the best tasting way. I enjoyed them with a ramen packet and it soaked up the seasoning nicely.

By far the best udon noodles I’ve had aside from the refrigerated ones you can get locally, which isn’t an option for me right now. They are a bit pricey, but honestly I would love to pay for this level of quality.

I love to prepare my own pho from stock to the final soup. These noodles are great (!!!) but this Alaska Native also knows how to extend moose or various soup with them. They're lovely, easy to incorporate into a variety of dishes, and I'm so happy to have taken a chance via Amazon. Mine arrived vac-packed, so definitely not dry. My cousin asked me if they needed chilling. I told him that mine sat in a cool part of my kitchen for six weeks before I opened the outer pack. But my pho turned out beautifully. (Getting the stock ready always takes me what seems an age.)

These are perfect to throw on a pan w any protein and sauce, be patient at first take your time spreading them out in heat. Delicious decisions.

These Sanuki fresh udon noodles cook really fast and come out perfectly chewy every time. They taste great, especially when stir-fried with a little soy sauce and chicken. Super easy to use, very convenient, and a great value for the amount you get. Definitely recommend if you want a quick, satisfying meal with authentic texture.
