Bright AF
We have an open concept house and we hosted a Halloween party. It only took one of these 500 W black lights to cover the entire kitchen/dining room/living room area. In fact, it was difficult finding a place to put it where it was not too harsh on the eyes when people look toward it. Unless youโre renting a huge venue, 2 of these lights is more than enough to make everything glow.

Wattage is completely inaccurate.
Yes, they are quite bright but they are NOT 500W each. On a known accurate wattmeter (I work in the electric field), they only consume 378 watts (3.52A/0.9kWh@122V) COMBINED.

Nice but...
These are really nice bright black lights. We purchased them to use on a trap field for lighting for Cosmic Clays type shooting. My only concern is the durability. They are rated IP66 but I just don't have the confidence that these will last over time being outdoors in all types of weather.

Dangerous! Do not buy. Fire hazard. These things heat up and burned my hand.

Cords should be longer.
Lights are bright, the power cords should be longer however, and the switch should be closer to the plug. I mounted these 15 feet high and I needed to use an extension cord. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to turn them on and off.

Scam
I bought the 500w set of 2. As you can see, one light is 184w. Total rip off, total scam, reported & returned.
