It’s not cheap, and it doesn’t try to be revolutionary — it’s just very well executed. Performance and usability Responsiveness is excellent. There’s no noticeable latency, pairing is instant, and charging via the magnetic attachment is still one of the cleanest implementations Apple has ever done. You never think about battery life or connection issues — it just works. The new squeeze gesture is genuinely useful and makes switching tools faster without breaking flow. The tilt support is well implemented and will be especially appreciated by artists, even if it’s not something every user relies on heavily. Feel and design The build quality is exactly what you’d expect. It feels solid, balanced, and premium. That said, the writing feel is still very smooth-on-smooth, which isn’t particularly pencil-like. Screen protectors help with that, but out of the box it’s not a perfect analog feel. Color options are still nonexistent, which is a bummer but that’s always been the case. Compatibility and pricing Requiring the Pro model for newer iPads is frustrating, but not surprising. It’s clearly part of Apple’s broader product segmentation strategy. While that won’t sit well with everyone, the Pencil Pro itself delivers enough refinement that it doesn’t feel like a compromised purchase. Minor quirks On rare occasions, if the iPad hasn’t been used in a while, the Pencil may not immediately reconnect. Placing it back on the magnetic charger instantly resolves this, so it’s more of a momentary hiccup than a real issue. Final thoughts There’s nothing here that feels half-baked. You can nitpick price, texture, or ecosystem decisions, but in actual daily use, none of those detract meaningfully from the experience. This Apple Pencil is great! I bought it to work with my new iPad Air 11” M4. It is perfectly compatible and connected without any difficulty. I love that it attaches magnetically to my iPad to charge and there’s no separate charger. It also pairs much more easily with my iPad than my previous Apple Pencil Pro. The material is smooth but not slippery, and comfortable to hold. The tips are durable and last a long time. The pencil is accurate and glides smoothly over the iPad screen, making it a pleasure to use, especially for drawing or painting. It is a good value for the money. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

I’m not a visual artist by any stretch, but I also hate not having every option at my disposal, so I bought this item used on here. The best $70 bucks I’ve ever saved. It didn’t come in an Apple box but it came in an Amazon box that was the size of an Apple box and it was padded and secure. The quality was as new as it would be coming from the Apple Store. It’s a pretty good device. It works well. I enjoy using it to make slight adjustments in my attempts to draw things and I do enjoy writing with it. Great weight and the haptics are on point when you use the options like squeezing it to change tools. It fits nicely on the top of the iPad with the magnet. Battery life has yet to drop below 95 even when I had it off the pad for a few days. I’m very happy with my purchase and I love the fact that I saved a few bucks by purchasing used.

I love the new pencil! The haptics in it are great! I originally had the 2nd gen pencil and needed a new one so I bought this one. When I got it, it wouldn’t sync to my iPad Pro 11 (4th gen) though. Apparently I didn’t read completely that it wouldn’t. However, because of this, my husband bought me the new iPad Pro (M5 chip) and the pencil works great with it! It syncs easily with the iPad and is easy to use.

Looks and works like brand new! The magnetic charging is solid, and the response time is flawless. The pressure sensitivity and barrel roll features are game-changers for drawing. It was well-packaged and arrived super fast. Getting a Pencil Pro at this price is a steal—saved a lot compared to buying new. Definitely a great find!

Purchased as an open‑box, like‑new item, and it arrived exactly as described. The box was opened but taped closed and the wrapper was still on the pencil. It didn’t have any charge out of the box, but as soon as I snapped it onto the side of my iPad, it synced instantly and worked right away. I charged it fully that first night and have been using it normally ever since. I’m using it with my 13” iPad Air M2, and it’s great. The double‑tap on the barrel to bring up the menu is super convenient, and everything works flawlessly. Zero issues so far. For basically half the price of a brand‑new one, this feels like an excellent buy and absolutely worth what I paid. Apple hardware is built well, the white looks nice and clean… I have no worries about longevity at all. Excellent product from Apple as usual.

I was honestly shocked at how easy it was to connect it to my iPad. Opened the box and was expecting to see more inside of it, decided to see what happens when I put it up to my iPad and it connected instantly. Works great with my iPad m2 with touch sensitivity and spiral twist stuff in procreate. Really happy to not have to plug it in to charge. I’m planning to use this daily, so I needed to make sure it would actually feel good to hold in my hand and oh baby let me tell you, it does. It’s really smooth drawing wise, using it is intuitive. Fits on the iPad snug. I’d say give it a shot

The Apple Pencil Pro is easy to write with, not heavy like the other reviews made it seem, very nice and simple design, great battery life, great pressure sensitivity, and the squeeze feature and wireless charging is a nice touch. Theres one issue though, I’m an artist and student and I do a lot of work on my iPad. The pencil (or my iPad) glitches and randomly and switches me over to the eraser tool in the middle of me writing/drawing even when I turned the squeeze feature off.

Lasts as long as 2 months without being charged, can find it easily through find my, I love the squeeze and double tap function where I can squeeze to open a palette in the app and double tap to switch( can be changed in settings) it charges automatically on top of your iPad and is compatible with Apple air iPads upwards of m2 and iPad pro’s upward of m1 and doesn’t work with any normal iPad, should be compatible with the mini too, it feels like Apple quality ofc and very durable
