I swear by Oust it cleans my kettle like new each time and I hate to see scale build up at all . I haven’t used it in my iron as I only use distilled water on that . The best. I use it once a week as our area has hard water. My kettle gets limescale buildup quickly. I use this and rinse, soft boil up to 6 times, and then I am ready to use my kettle. It is fast, easy to use, sachet contents are enough. I am not sure if it will last longer for you, but for me, it's a weekly thing. I rinse and soft boil it 6 times to remove the weird taste. It removes scale for a week at least and stains too.
