Great kit that I've used every single day for the past 4 years now as a Diesel Mechanic and automotive mechanic, also use them in Tech repairs and daily around-the-house work. I will add I have never used any of these bits in electric drivers or drills. Only used the provided drivers for these bits. Cons -The case has 4 cylindrical magnets on 4 corners of the base to hold the lid on. The plastic on the edges is very thin and can be damaged easily causing you to lose the magnets making the lid easy to fall off. -The foam that the bits and drivers sit in is black, and the text for the type of bits you have is also black, making it very hard to see what is what. If you have a handful of bits out you will need a light to see where they go or memorize where each bit goes. -The thinner bits like Torx, JIS, Security Torx, and some of the smaller phillips and flatheads can be damaged easily If you use them a lot. The edges break off on the torx bits, the flat heads can bend if your screw is a little hard to get out. -The magnet that holds the bits to the driver is pretty strong, taking out the larger Phillips bits can be a little rough if you don't have a strong fingertip grip, the rest of the bits I have no issue with. Pros - The Drivers are very well built, they have taken a beating throughout the years and even saw time being used as a small temporary hammer. - Large variety of bits - Foam has not been stretched or lost its grip on the bits, except for the Hook driver it's always been loose. - If you use it for work it will pay for itself.

I almost expected to find a diamond necklace or a tiara when I tried to open the box. It doesn’t open up nor does it have hinges. U need to slide it off its magnets. Inside u have a jewelry like display of bits well organized and well attached - probably also magnets under the foam. bits feel of good quality but haven’t used any of them yet. Two well engineered and built drivers- one hefty for 1/4” bits and the other smaller for precision 4mm shank bits. I bought the precision driver 2 weeks ago to use with a different set I have with a plastic driver. I impressed with the quality enough to try IFIXIt bigger set. Impressive. I give it a 5 even before trying it in real work. It just feels right. If I find otherwise - one can always edit.

This is my second iFixit Manta Driver Set (my toddler son just happened to throw all the bits in the garbage so I had to get another set). Bits are very strong and there's almost every bit that you can think of that can cover everything in your house, office or even PC. I have their travel kit when I used to be a freelance tech and it's very useful to have when you work in tech. Other third parties I've used, the bits would break and chip. Not with iFixit. You get what you pay for, seriously, and iFixit prices it very fairly so you know you will be getting a high quality tool set.

Yeah I found this set to be perfect for what I needed I was able to take apart a above military grade cell phone and put it back together and it worked perfectly I would recommend this to anyone who needs to set like this at all this one's the best the carrying case is awesome as well how's everything in place you don't have to look for anything it's all neat and tidy great for the person who has OCD

The provided images are to show the difficulty in reading the sizes of the bits. I recommend using some sort of small table light near this in order to highlight the sizes (shown above) I would love to see some sort of print laid over the sizes for bits in future editions of this product. The iFixit Manta Driver Kit is an incredibly high-quality set that has exceeded my expectations. From household tasks to working on PCs and phones, this kit covers all the bases with its versatile bit set. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, and I am truly excited to use them in the field. However, the only downside, which I feel is pretty significant, is that it is very hard to read the bit sizes over the black foam storage area. This can be a bit frustrating when trying to quickly identify the right bit for the job. Despite this minor issue, the overall quality and functionality of the kit make it a valuable addition to my toolkit. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and comprehensive bit set. This kit deserves a solid four stars.

I've hat the iFixit "Mako" set of bits for a few years and they have been my go-to when working on computers and other eloectronics. I wanted another set with some more variety, so I decided to get this one, and I really like it. It includes the same small size handle that the Mako kit has, but also includes a larger handle which is nice when you need more leverage to turn a tight screw. It has already helped me in one situation where the small handle from the Mako kit wouldn't cut it, even though it had the right bits. One issue I've had is that the magnetic part of the larger handle holds the bits in so strongly that it's hard to get them out of the handle. The bits themselves are small and there's not much to grip on to pull them out, and they are held really tightly. The smaller handle does not have this problem. My only other comment is that the Mako set comes in a fairly small box that easy to throw into a tool bag. I was surprised at how much larger this one is. I can still take it with me, but sometimes the smaller kit is more convenient when space is limited. PROS: * High quality, as always with iFixit * Excellent variety of bits * Two handle sizes; the larger one is especially nice * Case cover can double as a tray for holding parts while you are working * Cover stays on case securely with magnets CONS: * Magnet is the large handle is a bit too strong and it's hard to get the bits out * Driver case is relatively large compared to other iFixit sets If I had to choose between the Mako or this set, I would choose this one. However, I believe that the Mako has a few bits that this one doesn't have (and vise-versa). If you need to cover all bases, get both! iFixit always has quality tools so you can't go wrong.

Excelente kit con un gran variedad de puntas. El estuche es rígido pero un poco simple en diseño, parece que no soporta caídas, la tapa cuenta con separaciones para que se use como charola para tornillos, las 4 esquinas de la tapa cuentan con imanes para cerrar el kit o para poner la tapa atrás del estuche y que no se pierda. Ninguna de las puntas esta imantadas, y cuenta con dos desarmadores, uno de 1/4" y otro de 4mm, ambos tienen imanes para sujetar las puntas firmemente. El imán del desarmador pequeño (4mm) tiene suficiente potencia para imantar las puntas de 4mm, cosa que el de 1/4" no puede hacer. Ambos son estéticamente elegantes con una parte rugosa para un agarre firme y poder girar el desarmador rápidamente. Es un kit caro pero vale 100% el costo, jamás necesitarán comprar otro para electrónica o para la mayoría de los tornillos PH2.
