Eyelid Cleanser, Extra Strength, Pre-Moistened Pads, 30 Pads

I bought these as I regularly get stys on my eyelids despite washing my eyes in the shower each day. I always find myself picking bits off my eyelids and feel they get blurry or I can't see clearly. I decided to try these as they had fairly good reviews. I find it's best to treat my eyes at night and use one side for one eye and the other side for the other. They can be a little awkward to hold since they are thin which is why I first use them folded like they are in the packet (one quarter) as they are slightly more rigid. I then open them up to one half and use both sides for one eye. I then reverse this by opening it up fully, folding in half and use the remaining 2 sides for the other eye. There is normally enough fluid for both eyes yet being able to keep them separate. By treating them at night you can leave the solution on whilst sleeping. I find if I treat them in the day time, I eventually have to wash the solution off my eyes to be able to see properly. Plus although not excessive with fluid you can feel it on your eyelids and eyelashes. I've not treated my eyes many times (10 max so far) but have found them good. The instructions advise to rub back and forth which does make your eye a little sore afterwards and it's an awkward area to treat. Although I have not used a separate solution (available separately) I cannot imagine it would be any easier. I've taken to the idea that it's perhaps better to treat them several times over several days whenever I see a build up than have one long session trying to get every bit off. Although it has not entirely stopped my stys (I'm sure my stys are also down to eyestrain and not blinking enough which makes my eyes sore), I am sure these have reduced the occurrence and have definitely helped clear the crust from the tops of my eyelids and would recommend them.

I recently developed Blepharitis - since I stopped wearing eye makeup, strangely enough. My eyes are quite sensitive and reject many products going near them! But I’m delighted to say that these wipes are excellent. They very gently but effectively ‘scrub’ the lash line. There is no need to rinse and my eyes feel very comfortable after use. The Blepharitis cleared in just a couple of days of one use per day. Don’t be put off by the fact they are small wipes. I use one side of a wipe for each eye (one wipe does both eyes). It’s not a cure exactly as it starts to return after several days. But this is easily kept under control by using the wipes every few days. So one pack of thirty will last me approximately 3 months and worth every penny for the relief they provide. No more itchy, uncomfortable eyes. I highly recommend this product.

My son suffers from blepharitis and after some antibiotic treatment these have help keep his eye clean. we use them every day morning and evening and they are not too abrasive ( a previous brand made his eye bleed) I am not sure if it will clear blepharitis but it helps keep it at bay! we are on our 4th pack.

These were first recommended to my partner by a doctor at the eye hospital. She has blepharitis but also had 3 eye mites and dry eye. The pads helped clear the eye mites. I also have blepharitis so suffer eyes running as opposed to my partner suffering dry eyes. We have been using the pads for a week now and both seen great improvement and relief. One pad can do both eyes. Either cut one pad in half or just turn it over. The pad has slightly raised bumps on one side if you want more abrasion. They are nice and moist. The lid can feel a bit dry after but I understand it is important to let the liquid dry on the skin. The dry feel goes quite quickly but st least you know it has done it’s job. I did try a couple of chemists in the UK but you can only get these online. My local chemist told me to stick to these as the doctor had recommend them instead of suggesting an alternative.

I have had blepharitis for more than 10 yrs. I have tried washing my eyes with diluted baby shampoo as per advice from the optician and doctor. I also bought a heat pad for blepharitis which did help a bit. I then recently came across OCuSOFT lid scrub plus. Within about a week I noticed a big difference, my eyes Felt less gritty and dry. I was cleansing twice a day, now do once a day. I’ve also bought the OCuSOFT foam Cleaner but have yet to try it. Good value for money and so easy to use.

Your sore eyelid is soon better with these wipes. Use every day.

The wipes work for me cleaning my eyelids but I find the current price ridiculous at almost 80p per wipe!!
