I purchased this product when we had a horrible problem with fruit flies! Found out it was coming from the cat box. At least that is where they were nesting. Even cleaning and scrubbing the box everyday, we couldn't get rid of them. Purchased this item and it helped to clear up the excessive moisture in the box. Eliminating the problem. I use this now as a preventive in my cat litter r great pest control and the quality is great.

This product is phenomenal! No exaggeration! Bear with me here, while i attempt to paint a picture for you - I live at about 3500 ft elevation, in a moderatley populated mountain town, where there are a LOT of large evergreen trees. The trees create copius amounts of shade, and retain some moisture in the air. There are some lovely fruit trees in the yard of My house, which was built about 100 years ago, and it's built right up against a steep hillside. (Literally, looking out the back bedroom window, i just see a wall of earth!) It snows a bit here in the winter, and we get aclot of fog at this elevation, which is more likely a cloud. What I am saying is - it tends to be very moist here. I have to keep a dehumidifier running all winter or my home will mold. Eeeww. - - - All that being said... Can you imagine all the gnarly, less than desirable, creepy crawly creatures that make there way around and into my home. It can literally be the stuff of nightmares!! I seriously can't describe (and don't even want to think about) all the freaky, scary bugs and spiders amd whatever that I have encountered inside this house. We tried just about every kind of indoor, outdoor, and combo type bug sprays to keep these things out of our home. Constantly spraying. The smells of those sprays, even the "natural/non-chemical" varieties, would literally make me sick with headaches and nausea. And the critters still came in. Millipedes, or some similar wormy, fast moving creature, all kinds of spiders, silverfish/house centipedes, and slimy slugs, to name a few, were nearly impossible to get rid of. Losing my mind over this, i scoured the internet for othet ways to get rid of bugs or keep them out of the house. I came across an article about diatomaceous earth, and its many uses, including pest control. Learning that it was not only safe for ingestion, but it even had uses for ingestion, and safe for my dog and cats if they somehow ate it, was a huge appeal. I figured i really had nothing to lose by giving it a shot, so i ordered it immediately. It arrived 2 days later, and my bf set to work using it as instructed. By the next day, we found little bug corpses where they had tried to cross through the d.e. we out down! Amazing!! I read that it takes around 2ish weeks to be fully effective, as in mostly keeping bugs out, but it will kill them right away if they cross through the powder. I guess it says the 2ish weeks thing because it takes the critters that long to learn that they don't want to cross through that stuff! After enough of them due, they start to get the hint. Evwn if the bugs come inside, they dont make it very far before they die. I can not sing the praises if this product enough!! I tell everyone i know about using d.e. for pest control. It has seriously been a life changer for me!! It actually worked when nothing else would. It is worth every penny and then some. If you are thinking about trying this, and have actually read this far into my long winded review, for pest control specifically, please do not hesitate! I promise you will not regret it!

My favorite DE. Resealable and helps keep mites off my chickens. I put it in their dust bath and directly on them. I used it for army worms on my lawn and get rid of those.

Woke up one morning with bite marks on upper legs, a few more bites 2 days later. Did research & immediately sprayed clove spray, let it dry some, then spread baking soda to the mattress later, moved to the couch to sleep, sprayed orange & Citronella spray on couch, a few days later I spread the powder around the house perimeters, have not been bitten again after a week. I think the combination of things work great, but I think the Earth powder topped it off
