These LED strips are RGBICs. They are the type which do the dancing lights, chase etc. I included a video for you to see some of the cool effects it does. The remote has lots of options and if you want to get all of them the Bluetooth App “ColorLight” has many more to control the strip. For me the remote is more than enough but good to know you have the App should you loose remote. App is very easy to use and responsive. Light strip keeps last setting. The only con is the power pack which is not really water rated. You may be better off using a battery power pack to run these but it’s good to have options. The only other thing I would get is cable clips to secure the cables close to the frame. I really like this light kit for your scooter or bike. It has the more desirable RGBIC and with its USB plug gives you several power source options. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. Got this for my scooter after the other brands broke. This is way better with a cool remote and lots of settings and the move-to-music options are really Neat-O!. It also has an app you can use, but I don't put weird 3rd party apps on my phone that might have maleware so I didn't use it. What'd good is the remote has its own battey included and also all the lights are USB-A powered. So you can use the included AA battery pack that needs 4 AA batteries, or just use any seperate USB battery pack. I have a bunch so I don't need to use AA batteries! Way cool to have that option if wanted. The remote is a little jank but does work. See my video for reference.

I like this LED light kit. The package came with two Led light strips with cables, a 4-AA battery pack without the batteries, a small pouch, a nice remote, and a small instruction manual. Installation of the LED light strips is easy, but the adhesive on these light strips is very thin and weak. It won't hold up when I ride my Onewheel on the dirt path. So I remove the thin adhesive paper and replaced them with 3M heavy-duty 1/4" adhesive strip. The 1/4" 3M strips worked perfectly with these LED light strips. The LED light kit can be controlled by the remote or the app on the smartphone. The LED strips are waterproof and fun to use especially in the evening ride. I like the multi-color rolling lights, they are bright and look great. The battery pack requires four AA batteries, and the batteries are NOT included with this package. I plan to replace this with a rechargeable battery pack in the future.

I thought these would be higher grade given the price and Bluetooth app. But they are exactly like their $10 competition. What's sad that is if they had some brightness to them, they would be good. But the connection points and glue on the straps is weak. Normally you spend more and get more, that's not the case here. Avoid and go cheaper, because your getting the same thing!

These require either batteries or a USB power source. I had an extra USB battery backup which I am able to fasten to the stem of my scooter and then able to run the 2 separate light strips down the sides of the scooter's frame. Keeping the remote handy and trying to use it to manipulate the lights is cumbersome for my specific application I'm using these for so I just cloned the signal for on/off to the Flipper Zero(the USB pack, not the Flipper are req'd items to use; they just helped my specific method), for the sake of simplicity, it made things easier to power it on/off. And even the smallest USB Backup battery lasts for an extremely long time since I think the pack didn't need to be recharged for almost a month of daily commute. Overall: the strip lights are very bright at night and also really thin, so they will blend in flat (as well as adhere) with the most any common surface it seems.

Sadly only one side actually works. I got it broken. Easy to install and you can even hook an app up to it to use. For the scooter the best way would be the battery pack. Wish I could have got to use both sides.

Got this to mount on a mobility scooter. Since *nobody* seem to see a mobility scooter, I decided that flashing lights might help. Don't care if they help or not. They are really cool if nothing else. Comes with a battery to USB pack, but I just used a powerbank I had on hand. The default "demo" mode runs through a number of patterns, or you can use the included remote to pick your pattern and color choices. Very impressed and could only wish you could get longer strips and use this for larger vehicles or applications. The LED's are very bright and pure colors, very noticable.
